Detailed Reviews
We choose Emporium Suites not only because of its perfect location for our purposes but also because the phantastic room facilities on offer, the impeccable service and friendliness of all staff we encounter during our stays.
We are frequent visitors and during the current Covid restrictions we obviously highly appreciate the large and rather complete kitchen facilities that enables us to cook whatever we desire so we don't bother about the stringent restaurant restrictions and enjoy the comfortable dining area and living room. The bedroom and bathroom are of a very good standard as well and we like the fresh air on the balcony lining along with nice view of the city.
Emporium Suites truly represents our home away from home and that's how we are treated as well. Our great thanks to all!

The Emporium Suites has a great location, great staff, and great potential to be the best hotel in the Bangkok metropolitan area. I really wanted to rate this as one of my favorite hotels but my biggest critique and disappointment is that it could use a good remodel, or at least good thorough cleaning of the suites, particularly the bathroom sinks, tiles and grout, furniture tops and side paneling—so much of it had dark grime it was difficult to ignore. The rooms could also be warmed with more decor to make it more welcoming. The main dining room could also use a major renovation overhaul as the seats were heavily worn and tearing. Overall, I see the remnants of this being such a grand premium hotel because of its location, helpful and friendly hotel staff, good accommodations, quality bathroom towels, and personal hygiene supplies, but better individual suite cleaning or a full remodel could really elevate the overall hotel and experience.

I stayed one night at the emporium suites, on July 20th, 2020 And I had a great time the staff allowed me an early check-in and a late check-out.
My room was Also very spacious way more spacious than depicted on booking websites. My room included a washing machine stove/oven microwave and more. Breakfast was included in my booking and it was great I enjoyed an omelet and a few other great breakfast dishes. The hotel was Also low-density Which makes it an awesome stay during this COVID 19 situation the hotel wasn't crowded at all and to top it off my room included an awesome view of the escape rooftop bar where I finished my night at.
In comparison, I stated at the Marriott queens park the following week and found it to be crowded and the rooms are not nearly as spacious as the rooms at the emporium. I easily found that I get way more bang for my buck at the emporium suites.
All in all, I have no real complaints about the room, service, food, or staff at the emporium it was an awesome stay. I truly do hope they have a rewards or member program so that I can earn discounts or rewards towards my stays there as I'd love to come often.

Here there are old dirty rooms with cockroaches in them. They are really old. The curtains are dirty and bad in the morning the light always comes through. The doors are opaque
so light can come into your room from the outside room. The bed is old same with the desk. The drains are full of hair and the WiFi is slow. There is a lack of TV channels on the
Holiday
television and the balcony is small and pointless. The windows are dirty along with underneath the bed. The electricity makes a weird noise and smell of cigarettes come out of the
air conditioner. The white walls are starting to turn and the lights here really make you tired. The gym is small. The plates are dirty and the lifts are slow you have to wait five to ten
minutes. Twice the lift dropped one floor which scared the life out of me. The lounge downstairs is poor and non-guests can just use it as a waiting area to sit for the buses outside. There is loud disco music coming from across the road every night and you can hear through the walls people showing, talking and vacuuming.
The breakfast is terrible and has a weird smell and the rate for this under maintained place is too much for what it is offering. There are many other better hotels in Bangkok .
Emporium Suites by Chatrium don't bother to spend your money here.

Dear Jake J, Thank you for taking time to share your comments with us. However, we are saddened to read that not everything was to your satisfaction. Please know that the hotel has been actually conducted room enhancement program step-by-step over the last two years with the completion of all rooms. In respect to your comments on Bangkok night life, please know that the law requires that restaurants generally closed at midnight and registered places like bars and nightclubs can be opened until 1.00 am. We do really apologize also for the elevators traffic which is more crowded during peak hours when most of guest going for breakfast and leave hotel in morning and return in evening. With regards to breakfast, we regret that we did not meet your expectation. We always continuously review guest comments with the F&B team. It was sad that the issue of food has not been brought up to our attention while you met to rectify and fix the problem. However, recheck with the team back for the record as we found nothing mentioned so far. I apologize for your room not getting cleaned and we've taken that up with our housekeeping team for improvement. Again, please accept our sincerest apologies for inconvenience may cause to you. The team and I wish you a wonderful stay wherever you choose to stay on your future visit to Bangkok. Kind regards, Mathurose-Rose Director of Rooms

We stayed in the Emporium for a couple of nights on the way back to Australia from Covid-19 ravaged Europe.
We booked a 65m2 Deluxe City View room, which was a spacious studio with a small kitchenette. There was plenty of bench space to work at, and a small dining room. The 39th floor was quiet and the bed comfortable. The hotel is far from new and the room decor and bathroom look a bit dated, but do the job. There’s a couple of knives and forks and plates and bowls in the kitchenette, and that’s about it. There’s no other implements for cooking, and no pots or pans for the stove. A sign says other utensils may be had from Reception, but subject to availability. So don't count on doing much cooking in the apartment.
The ageing Emporium isn’t cheap either, but it’s the excellent location next to the Emporium shopping mall and Phrom Phong BTS station that keeps it afloat. The Food Court on the 4th floor in the Emporium Mall could meet your Thai food cravings for a couple of weeks.
One disappointing aspect of our visit was that although the hotel was nearly empty we were still required to pay a half day rate of 1600 baht to access our room before the official 2pm check in time. The advertised welcome drink didn’t happen either.

Dear Anney F, Thank you for your support to Emporium Suites by Chatrium and sharing with us your stay experience. Your opinions are very valuable in helping us maintain a high level of service to guests and in ensuring that your expectations are met on each visit. What a pleasure to read your compliment on our great and convenient location close to two shopping malls and sky train station. However, we do really apologize also for inconvenience caused to you in regard to the kitchenette which may need to ask for if need and the late check out charge in this situation, of course we could be flexible. I trust that this experience in Emporium Suites by Chatrium has not permanently marred your opinion of our hotel and that you will give us the opportunity to show you our true hospitality. Booked mainly because of easy access to Emporium mall below but concerned about the number of fake postings by single reviewers (easy to work out because there are so many and they are unanimously 5/5). Reception is on the ground floor, around the corner from the mall. Doorman took suitcases but no valet service. We had a courteous check in and were escorted to our “executive suite.”
This is an attractive, huge studio with living and bedroom areas. The sofa and bed were stylish and comfortable but the glass wall providing city views seems to be single glazed so that traffic noises are surprisingly obvious, even on the highest floors (35-42).
The separate kitchenette initially looked impressive but turned out to offer only 4 plates, 3 wine glasses, 2 mugs, 2 glasses and a few pieces of cutlery. No pots or pans. No washing up liquid, no sponge (forewarned by another review, we had brought our own). There was a sink, 2 burners, a toaster, a kettle and basic tea/coffee packets. The big fridge was welcome and contained half a dozen complimentary soft drinks. Two 500ml bottles of water are provided daily.
The biggest disappointments, mentioned in many authentic reviews, were the slow (overworked) lifts and the old bathroom with shower over bathtub. Worse was the poor shower pressure. The towels are not 5* quality.
We did not even try the breakfast here because so many of the real reviewers were disappointed. However, that meant difficulty finding any nearby food outlets open before 10am, particularly inconvenient with our very early waking times, due to jet lag.
We agree with the reviewers who said it is not really a 5* hotel and also with those who state it is overpriced. About a third less than current prices would represent fairer value at what is essentially an aparthotel, even though there is apparently room service and rooms are cleaned and made up daily.

I have just found my home away from home in the heart of Bangkok. Our room had everything we needed whether it was a comfy bed, a large kitchen, a washing machine, or a luxurious bathroom. The room was clean and all facilities in the room were well maintained.Swimming pool and gym were fantastic. Their hospitality should not leave unnoticed as well because all staff were so incredibly attentive and helpful. The assistant manger, who escorted us to our room, immediately offered us a baby cot when seeing our one year old son also accompanied with us even though we did not book for it. When we came back to hotel after our dinner, a bell boy who opened the door for us, noticed that there was a small wound near the right eye of our son, he suddenly asked whether we wanted to go hospital or not and also gave us a fist aid kit ( the wound was very small and our son did not cry, so we did not see it and did not know when the wound happened). Will recommend my friends to stay here

This was my fourth or fifth time staying here.
I always stay for 2 or 3 weeks, and it's always very comfortable.
I really like the fact that it has a washing machine and a kitchen.
When you have children with you, eating out all the time is tiring, so we make simple meals with the food we brought from Japan, or eat things we bought at the Emporium Department Store in the room. The breakfast menu is so extensive that we end up overeating in the morning!
There is also a clothesline in the room, so you can hang out your laundry without any problems. The hangers in the room are a little inconvenient when hanging out children's clothes, so it might be a good idea to bring 100 yen hangers with you every time.
And above all, the location is great. Even if it rains in the rainy season, you won't get wet, and even in the hot dry season, you can go home from the station without walking on the sidewalk.
Both the Japanese and Thai staff are very kind. They are kind to children, and my children love the staff.
Some parts of the rooms are not exactly new, but if there is a problem they will come and deal with it right away, and I would highly recommend this hotel for both those who want to relax with children and those who want to do some active sightseeing.
There are many more things I would like to recommend, but this is a hotel that I would definitely recommend you stay at and experience its greatness!!
I hope to visit you again in the future.

From my 14-day ASQ hotel (i.e., Maitria Mode), my company booked me a 30-day temporary accommodation and I chose Emporium Suites by Chatrium since it is closer to a mall, park, BTS Station and to my work. I had a great experience during my stay with Maitria so I was looking forward to stay in Emporium as well. And boy they did not disappoint me. They have exceeded my expectations once again. Below are the points that i want to highlight:
1. The staff and manager are so warm, welcoming, friendly and VERY helpful. I have asked and requested a lot of stuff and they always deliver. Since gyms are close so I asked them if I could borrow dumbbells and they were very nice to lend me some.
2. The agreement between my company and the hotel is just to provide me cleaning service 3 times a week but they offered to make it everyday.
3. Their rooms are spacious and clean.
4. I am just grateful and I appreciate that all their staff can speak and understand English.
5. They have an app!! Instead of me calling them if i need to request something, i just message them thru the app. This is like the best thing for introverts I would say!
Overall, I would recommend my expat friends to stay in this hotel or any of Chatrium’s group of hotels.

Emporium Suites by Chatrium is perfectly located within 80m to the BTS Phrom Phong Station, therefore commuting to other city attractions is easy! It is also connected to the Emporium Mall and Emquartier Mall that offer premium shopping and dining experience. Furthermore there are numerous eateries offering local cuisines at local prices. Our room on the 29th floor offers us a great city view and it's very well maintained. We love our stay here.

There, you need to register whether you are a hotel guest, a resident of a serviced apartment, or a member of a sports club, as well as the purpose of using the pool.
