We have stayed several time again at this, our favourite, Bangkok hotel since I last reviewed it here, most recently last week for a couple of nights. It never fails to give satisfaction, and is like a home away from home for us. We had a great welcome as usual, our suite upgrade was as comfortable as ever, housekeeping staff helpful and always there when we need them. Terrific breakfast. And I still maintain the location is the best in Bangkok -- so convenient for everything we need, and a great park next door for my morning walk when I'm not in the mood for the fabulous gym or pool. We will of course be back!
Amazing location. Very helpful staff. Very comfortable facilities specially the gym Rooms are clean . Views are amazing. Easy connection to the BTS. Very comfortable access to all shopping as closing and food
I stayed one night at the emporium suites, on July 20th, 2020 And I had a great time the staff allowed me an early check-in and a late check-out. My room was Also very spacious way more spacious than depicted on booking websites. My room included a washing machine stove/oven microwave and more. Breakfast was included in my booking and it was great I enjoyed an omelet and a few other great breakfast dishes. The hotel was Also low-density Which makes it an awesome stay during this COVID 19 situation the hotel wasn't crowded at all and to top it off my room included an awesome view of the escape rooftop bar where I finished my night at. In comparison, I stated at the Marriott queens park the following week and found it to be crowded and the rooms are not nearly as spacious as the rooms at the emporium. I easily found that I get way more bang for my buck at the emporium suites. All in all, I have no real complaints about the room, service, food, or staff at the emporium it was an awesome stay. I truly do hope they have a rewards or member program so that I can earn discounts or rewards towards my stays there as I'd love to come often. …
Here there are old dirty rooms with cockroaches in them. They are really old. The curtains are dirty and bad in the morning the light always comes through. The doors are opaque so light can come into your room from the outside room. The bed is old same with the desk. The drains are full of hair and the WiFi is slow. There is a lack of TV channels on the Holiday television and the balcony is small and pointless. The windows are dirty along with underneath the bed. The electricity makes a weird noise and smell of cigarettes come out of the air conditioner. The white walls are starting to turn and the lights here really make you tired. The gym is small. The plates are dirty and the lifts are slow you have to wait five to ten minutes. Twice the lift dropped one floor which scared the life out of me. The lounge downstairs is poor and non-guests can just use it as a waiting area to sit for the buses outside. There is loud disco music coming from across the road every night and you can hear through the walls people showing, talking and vacuuming. The breakfast is terrible and has a weird smell and the rate for this under maintained place is too much for what it is offering. There are many other better hotels in Bangkok . Emporium Suites by Chatrium don't bother to spend your money here. …
We had to spend a couple of nights in Bangkok as I had a medical appointment. Given that we always stay nowadays at this property, I didn't check any other hotels, but was delighted to find that Emporium Suites by Chatrium was still open despite many (most?) hotels across Thailand being closed. Everything was as usual -- great staff, great room, lovely stay. Health precautions were appropriate of course. The rate we paid (booked direct) was good, and we got a room upgrade too. Much appreciation to management and staff in these difficult times, and we wish you all the best in battling through these immensely challenges times for the hotel industry
