if you love peaceful time of river walk and also want to hit the town. here is perfect place to go everywhere. close enough to town but still close to the river and just opposite Main train station. MRT ( Subway ) is right there infront of the hotel. walking distance to all tourist spots

Location: right outside hua lamphong metro station. First place we saw. Only stayed here as a last option as missed last train. Hotel: definitely overpriced dirty dive. Although the bed's plastic mattress protector and air con topped with being overtired made for a very sound sleep. In spite of that it did feel seedy and dirty and like it needed... More

The hotel is too old. No safe in the room. There are not any tea or coffee in the room. The sound from outside can be heard in the room so I find it difficult to sleep. The toilet is quite dirty and the water is difficult to control. The breakfast is not variable.

As a budget hotel I thought it would be as good as it actually was. Stayed in a twin room. Aircon, tv, fridge with complimentary water. Beds were comfortable. The pool was fantastic as the weather was so hot at the time. Breakfast was a mix of western and Asian which was good if you can't stomach certain foods in... More

Smelt badly of smoke (inside and outside the room). No duvet just a rough blanket between 2 sheets. No safe in the room. WiFi was out of range in our room. No kettle for tea / coffee or to purify water. Half a role of toilet paper. (Staff were friendly but that always seems to be the case in Thailand).... More

Went for lunch here as a friend was joining a tour group at the hotel, so rather than choose this venue for lunch, it was just convenient. The buffet was Chinese focused, with lots of different choices, but as it was quite busy, it all looked a bit messy and dishevelled I'm afraid. All the food was very tasty, but... More

Cozy hotel near most things to do. Has a pool and a good breakfast buffet that starts early which is nice. Very friendly and kind staff, and nice rooms as well. The restaurant situated in this hotel has a lot to choose from. The wifi is also very good which is hard to find some places.

The staff is nice and looking for customers to help. The building from outside is not impressive at all, however inside it's modern and clean. I asked for the same room for 3 nights in advanced mail but I won't get it which is annoying at 6am to leave my stuff in the store room meanwhile I will be out... More

Hotel is lovely inside. It is located in the city so don't expect an amazing view unless you like buildings and railway lines. Hotel is back of the road so not as nosey as it could be. Close to the metro 2 min walk. China town ect is a good 20-30min walk away. Party area you need to get a... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
