My three friends and I visited the hotel on two different occasions throughout our stay in Bangkok through an organised tour with G Adventures! The hotel in general is slightly run down and could do with a makeover. We were greeted by reception staff who were pleasant enough but could do with better people skills! The rooms were slightly cramped... More

Started a G Adventures tour from this hotel and it was great. Helpful staff during the day. The night staff let it down a bit as it was a struggle to get a beer from the bar but other than that great. Rooms slightly dated but amazing views over Bangkok. Really simple to get to straight on the train from... More

Came here with a tour company. The hotel rooms were adequate, if slightly outdated. We found staff to be rude and unapproachable, often trying to avoid going near reception or the restaurant if necessary. Pool was good, you could relax by the side, whilst enjoying a swim. Fair price. Wifi was ok, at times losing it and having to login... More

The hotel was ok. Clean but a bit old Need some touchup on things that are old and rusty to keep up with others up coming new hotels with better renovation. The location was great, walking distance to malls and food stores. It wasn't easy to find the hotel, some taxi doesn't even know the place... Maybe there is just... More

My partner and I stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a group on an excursion and were more than satisfied with our stay. The rooms were always clean and comfortable. The bathroom was sometimes a little outdated but everything functioned well. We stayed in two different rooms on two different occasions and slept well. Breakfast is... More

The hotel is located near China town and the rooms are basic but fine. My trip was made by the 2 taxi drivers at the hotel. They took me everywhere and organised a boat tour. They were so helpful and not bad priced as being solo I didn't want to chance a dodgy taxi. The pool was small but nice... More

Didn't like this hotel. Rude receptionist staff except for one lovely smiley lady. And whatever you do, don't use the taxi booking service just outside the hotel. Absolute rip off, was quoted 400 baht for our journey to the next hotel but in the taxi meter it was only 100 baht. He even had the cheek to claim no taxi... More

We've used this hotel a few times before. It's location is great but it is sorely in need of renovation! The mattresses retain their shop plastic covers so everytime you move, it crackles & the sheets move..mattress protectors have been invented!! The bathroom is pretty bad..the shower & bath taps run at the same time meaning you have very hot water... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
