I stayed here for 3 nights around New Years Eve. It is an older hotel but they keep it very clean. Because it is old the rooms are larger than what you might find in a newer hotel. As to location, it is a mixed bag. As others have said the general location is very good - close to public...

It's our first stay at Jasmine City Hotel after trying out various hotels for our previous visits to Bangkok. The hotel is conveniently located, about a 5 minute walk to Asok BTS. Lots of food establishments around the hotel, from cheap street food to restaurants. It's also a short walk from. Terminal 21, Emquartier and Emporium@Soi 24. What impressed us...

We stayed one night at Jasmine City Hotel. We chose this hotel because we need to take early train next day. The hotel locates next to Asok skytrain BTS station. There is 7-eleven and Maxvalue nearby and bathtub, small kitchen and a microwave in the room. This hotel is good for those who prefer to stay apartment type room.

We visited our daughter who works in Bangkok so picked this hotel due to its location next to Asok on the BTS. Nice spacious rooms, they are apartments really, friendly staff (although all the Thai people are wonderful), the breakfast was varied and good. The gym was a bit scruffy, there were towels and old newspapers lying about when I...

It's very convenient to go anywhere by using both BTS and MRT. Any daily cares are available to buy at 7-eleven and Maxvalue by few step 24 hours. The room is mostly convenient and clean but the facility is old. Some water leaking was found around the sanitary.

The rooms are basically apartments here so they are large, quiet, and comfortable. Bed was plush. Kitchen allows you to bring in your own food to cook and store. They had pots, dishes and silverware in the rooms. Location is perfect, near soi cowboy, asok rail station, terminal 21 mall, 7-11, and a full grocery market under ground across from...

Recently stayed at this property. Location is very good for mass transit options with sky train and underground subway 1 minute away. Also, the infamous Soi Cowboy is across the street should that be of interest. The room itself was fairly large more like an efficiency studio than classic hotel room. Generally speaking room is well appointed for the price....

Stayed here with friends needing a few twin share room, when we got there the rooms were all double beds and it took most of our 3 night stay to get it sorted. However, staff were friendly, hotel was clean, the breakfast was reasonable for a free buffet breakfast. The pool area was average, it was just very old and...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
