I have been living at the Rembrandt Suites since January 2020. It has become my home-away-from home where I am extremely content. The staff and management have done a fantastic job making their guests feel welcome and safe during the difficult COVID situation despite facing difficulties and uncertainties with their own respective jobs. Over the years, I have stayed in many service apartments in Bangkok— Emporium Suites, Centerpoint, Marriott, Conrad—but the Rembrandt Suites by far offers the greatest value for money for the following reasons: -Flexible arrangements: The Rembrandt is very flexible with the lease terms. All the other full-service apartments are very rigid to the point of being unfriendly -Great location: Mass Transit: The Rembrandt is within easy walking distance of the two mass-transit stations (MRT and BTS). The Asoke intersection is only one of two places in the entire city where these two systems converge, so the location is extremely convenient -Great location: Main Roads Unless you have spent time in Bangkok with its horrendous traffic, you can’t appreciate the efficiency and convenience that a good location like the Rembrandt can provide. It is on only one of a few Sois (streets) that give access to Sukhumvit (the main road) while allowing for right and left turns. Most other streets force you to turn one way or the other. It also allows one to access Soi 20 and Soi 18. So, there are many options to get it out of the service department -Great Staff: The employees here are great. Very professional, responsive and friendly. Really makes one feel at home. Front desk staff are great and the bell men do a great job helping with packages and luggage. -Housekeeping The daily housekeeping service is superb. Most other full-service apartments in Bangkok only provide housekeeping six days a week. The Rembrandt provides it daily. The staff are also very good at accommodating specific preferences. -Great Facilities: Nice pool, gym, and sauna. -Room comfort: My room is extremely comfortable. Is very spacious and bright and the wi-fi signal is very strong. The bed is REALLY comfortable. In the end, you can’t go wrong by staying at the Rembrandt. Yes, there are other service apartments in Bangkok that are newer and glitzier, but they are also at least 30-50% more expensive and in locations that are far less convenient than the Rembrandt Serviced Suites…
The rooms at the Rembrandt are always in a great condition and with new ‘social distancing’ regulations the hotel is going above and beyond to give you a great experience even in these new times. The hotel is in a great location for getting to the Asoke BTS, having a drink or massage close by. It’s one of our favourite hotels in BKK. We love it so much we’re going back next week!
Conveniently located within easy walking distance of Asok BTS and Sukumvit MRT stations. A well appointed hotel with immaculately clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff that are considerate and attentive without becoming intrusive in any way. I have no hesitation in recommending the Rembrandt to fellow travellers and am looking to return visit for myself.
I have stayed at many hotels in Bangkok over my 30+ years here and overall this place is OK, they had a special on for 1,224bht per night which included room and breakfast so a reasonable rate. The breakfast was average and yes I understand the challenges at this covid time, the service staff were very accommodating and quality of food was average with a reasonable selection of sausages and eggs ect also Mexican wraps. The location was close to BTS and with complimentary tuk tuk service.
Great staff who are very friendly and attentive without getting in your way. Great service but, as indicated above, not overbearing. Great room on the apartment side of the complex - basically it was a studio rather than a hotel room. Great price - less than THB1,300 all in per night.
