Stayed here last Christmas and in Feb, really loved the breakfast in the ship themed dining area next to the pool. Now that is closed and derelict so you go to the main Hotel. Nowhere near as good and you have to suffer the most horrendous music playing, maybe that is to get people to leave quickly? Told us breakfast not included after we had started and they had ticked us in. After Thai wife showed them the email stating inc breakfast they blamed us for giving them the wrong room number, but I heard her clearly say it, in Thai and it was correct. One bed suite, strangely no safe and you get noise from other bathrooms, they have new flat screen tv's now. Not sure if I would stay again, some good things but some not so good, also mix up with room, asked for bath got one without, but they did move us. Good value over all.…

There are two properties in Bangkok named Rembrandt, seemingly managed by the same company. "Rembrandt Sukhumvit" is a serviced apartment property, "Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok" is a hotel. The former is facing Sukhumvit 20, the latter soi 18, both sois are accessible between the properties by car/motorbike or on foot through a shortcut. There's an indian mini-mart 10 meters from the soi 20 access, and two 7-11's 2 mins down soi 20 or 3 mins up soi 18. We stayed at the serviced apartment property. Service is very friendly and welcoming. The view is unfortunately degrading day by day as there's a condo thing rising to the north in soi 20 and a super-massive project in soi 22 coming up which will sadly drown the entire view from the rooms and pool. We booked a 2 br suite for our family and got a 1 br suite with a connecting double bed room, which was perfectly fine for us. The suite reminded me of the places I used to stay in when on holiday in Bangkok 20 years ago. If you crave a hip place with all the bells and whistles those come with, this isn't the spot for you, or maybe it is if you book one of the redecorated, flashy rooms. Beds and pillows were comfy. I simply love it, you get a lot of space and comfort for your money, and it feels like a home away from home. It probably helps that I'm a nostalgic too, but if you haven't experienced "old" Thai hotels, this is a good chance to do it while experiencing great service. Not so strange that many of the guests I talked to were long stay expats from all corners of the world. Short stay guests seemed to be mainly Indian. The elevator signs says that the pool, gym and Garden Cafe is on fl 11. The garden cafe must have been really something in this property's heyday. Now it's reduced to an empty, damp shell and the terrace is equally empty. The garden is really nice kept (minus the palms in the property pictures), and sporting about 50/50 of the light fixtures actually providing light at night. I didn't try the gym, but it seemed to have most of what you need to break a sweat. Adjacent toilets/showers really show their age, but are squeaky clean. You can use the large and very clean pool day or night, and bring your own food and drinks since it's a serviced apartment property. If you like having a quiet night cap in the garden, no one will disturb you. There's not many sun beds available, but during our stay we never saw more than 3-4 sun beds being occupied at the same time. Good value for money, will be back for our next visit to the City of Angels.…

We enjoyed our stay there. We stayed for over three months while we waited to travel. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. Doormen and cleaning ladies were genuinely helpful and kind. Some nice parks in the area with playgrounds for kids.

The room is clean and stuff are kind. The bass room is comfortable. Breakfast อร่อยมาก. Just we feel sorry that we expected to stay at the hotel but it was the tower. It's a life. We are looking forward to starting at the hotel next time.

First discovered this gem a few months ago and since then I have stayed here every time I visit Bangkok. The hotel has perfect facilities, everything you could ask for. Value for money is outstanding and I recommend the one bedroom suite which is very affordable. Location could not be better - only 5 minutes walk from Asoke BTS but down a quiet soi so the stay is peaceful and not disturbed by the traffic on Sukhumvit. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, with all the facilities you'd expect including separate areas to work, eat and relax. Nice big pool. Good quality Finnish sauna. Well-equipped gym. Excellent breakfast and even more excellent dining options, including efficient room service. And then there's the staff. They are just the best and each of them go out of their way to make me feel welcome. Thank you and I will be back soon!…

Stayed here many times over the years for three reasons. First - it's an excellent base for Sukhumvit area - lots of local shops, restaurants - and easy to get anywhere. Second - the apartments are spacious and the renovated ones very nice. Plus some of the hotel amenities and restaurants are excellent. Thirdly - and most importantly - the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Led by manager George - is there nothing this many doesn't know or try to help with ? Staff at reception are always helpful, the concierges terrific - but my star is our maid Ms Ryychanna - who was superb throughout our stay. There are cheaper, more modern places to stay in Bangkok - but for us Rembrandt offers a bit of everything , is 'homely' and we hope to stay many times in future.

My first visit to this particular hotel and I was not disappointed at all. I have stayed in a few hotels in this area but I like to change and get a different experience. Firstly the staff are so helpful and friendly and even when I got lost a cleaner took me by the hand and showed me where to go ! The rooms are big and comfortable and very clean, I won’t pretend that as many hotels it could do with a proper maintenance programme to stop it becoming shabby. Anyway all in all a nice stay and I have booked another stay here early 2020 so it can’t be bad 👍 Note: we didn’t eat in the hotel as I prefer to eat out but I’m sure it was as good as the ambience suggests
