Smooth booking with Agoda. The room was large and comfortable, bathroom with shower and a bathtub (clean). The room was well kept, although made up quite late in the day... The room had a sitting area with a sofa, TV, a nice area with table and chairs for working or meals, a nicely equipped kitchenette including a refrigerator, microwave and... More

The booking details sent to & reality was different . After checking in the bell boy took our luggage to nearby residential flat which he claimed was a prat of the hotel itself. The room had old fashioned furniture & a tilting balcony, can collapse any moment..STRANGELY this what they called JUNIOR SUITE is located out side the main building... More

My Hotel (President Solitaire) has been closed at the end of 8.2916 but I had booked 2 nights more. The crew of Solitaire bring me to Royal and introduced me there. I got a good room (only a little bit load from the Soi 15). All the people are very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is Ok. Good is the shuttle-bus... More

I booked a deluxe suite for a 2 week stay at this hotel. I was in Bangkok for some plastic surgery and needed somewhere comfortable to recuperate following my surgery and knew I would be confined to my room for several days as I was alone. The suite was huge and I felt more like I was staying in an... More

1. Hotel is clean & hygienic. It's an old styled business boutique hotel but little changes to the ambience have made it look like a trendy one. I feel the management has acquired this hotel and has renovated according to their requirements because some of the fittings in the rooms have pretty old style & one can see damages, cracks... More

Had an amazing experience with this hotel. The rooms were HUGE! Staff was prompt with their responses.. From the receptionists to the bellboy and from the room service to the guards.. All were overly polite and hospitable. If you're in Bangkok and are looking for a "no nonsense" hotel..and obviously don't wanna spend time looking around.. This is the place... More

My 1st visit to this hotel was 3 years ago. The hotel looks run down after 3 years & lack of maintenance. Hot water is slow and not hot especially during day time. Royal President is walking distance to Terminal 21, BTS Asok & Nana in less than 10 minutes by walk. Interior look a bit run down.

My first night was in a Junior Suite. Unfortunately it was locted in a wing 2 buildings away across the street in a non-desript shabby looking building. The entry was by a carpark. The corridors leading to my room had disgustingly dirty carpets and window blinds. Fortunately the room was quite good. It was a bit dated however it was... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
