Booked Furama Silom as ASQ hotel in March 2021. Room is big and bright, bathroom nice, comfy bed. Wifi usually works, yet sometimes interrupted. However, they removed the entire living room furniture. Moreover, the carpet is not visible as the entire floor in borh rooms is covered by plastic. Mandatory food servings do not reflect the great Thai cuisine, two choices of food only, mostly chicken with rice, rice with pork, pork with pasta, pasta with chicken, etc. No sports equipment in room, even though I was willing to pay for it. There is a balcony but doors are sealed. All in all, I will survive but room definetely does not look like the pics on their ads

for just a few bucks more you get a bigger room with great view (balcony was not accessible). Pool is clean and has a roof top bar. Better skip Travel agency close to reception (Taxi/Tuktuk outside called them "italian") They ask for 1000,- Baht deposit which you get returned at Check-Out. Could leave my luggage for a few hours without cost at Hotel

We stayed allready some years ago in this hotel. The location is great, the room is also large. But we remembered him more elegant as a whole and with a more beautiful view in another room. The view from the swimming pool on the 20th floor is beautiful. Kind staff. Wifi was not working in our room and the bathroom shower was a little bit broken. Unfortunately, the view from our balcony was also not very beautiful. The mattresses for hard for us. in rrestaurant and reception is ok Wifi internet. However good value for money.

Returning customer after 1 year away with a very warm welcome from all staffs at front desk same as Front Office Manager, Guest Service Manager, Concierge, Room maids + service staffs at the restaurant.
It's still a best place for us to stay when we visit Bangkok, 8 days is gone too fast, wish we have more time there.
Room is spacious, clean, quiet, wifi is so fast. Lot of helps provided by front desk & Concierge staffs with all the inquiries and their knowledge of the local area are well advance.
Breakfast buffet were excellent with lot of varieties and cater for western, asian (Thai, Japan, Chinese)+ fresh fruits.
New 7-11 is on the same side and few steps from the hotel. Management & staffs maintain this property in a top notch of hygiene, high security level, also provided lot of help for travellers during this time when the pandemic is on high alert around the globe.
Once again, many thanks to Khun Parkpoom, Khun Pattama, Ms Ong, all staffs at front desk, Concierge, Security and our room maid on level 16.
We will return and definitely staying at your property in the near future.

We have stayed in this property last 15 years since it is called Tower Inn. Many employees have been working over 15 years . They are always helpful and warm. That is the big reason we chose Furama Silom over another hotels. Location is good where near BTS Chong Nosi station ( 7min. walk ). There are many restaurants and bars near by. I recommend to book the room through their site because they will give the 25 % early bird discount and early check in & late check out. Highly recommend this hotel .

The BAD:
The hotel's cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The carpets are not vacuumed, and the bed sheet and towels are worn out, with tears in them. The room is provided with only two coffee sachets and two non-dairy creamer satchels. Despite claiming to be "modern and contemporary," the hotel is in need of significant work. The hall carpets are old, dirty, and worn. I upgraded to an advanced room, but if this was their advanced room, I feel sorry for the people on the lower floors. The balcony is not swept and contains a lot of bird droppings.

Even when I leave in the morning and come back in the late afternoon with the "Clean My Room" button on, it seems like the room is never cleaned. I am lucky if the room is cleaned every other day. Although the room is quite large, it only takes the cleaning staff four minutes to "clean the room." This only involves replacing towels, straightening the duvet, and providing two coffee sachets. The staff are more interested in selling city trips, and repairs to the room are not taken care of, possibly due to the lack of staff.

The Good:
The breakfast is plentiful and offers a nice limited range, including fruit, coffee, and tea. The cooks are attentive, and the staff always have a smile. The hotel is semi-central and within walking distance to the station. The rooftop swimming pool is a nice addition, with a 360-degree and amazing view. There is also a gym that would suit most people for some exercise. Additionally, the hotel is a short walk from Patpong Night Market and about 2km from the MBK Shopping Mall.

Overall Comments:
I was disappointed with the hotel's cleanliness, and it could be a great place to stay if they spent a little time fixing it up. However, I won't be returning to this hotel any time soon. I chose to stay here as part of a package deal.

We stayed for 4 days. The room we were staying is so old and stuffy that I couldn’t breathe. When we mention to the staff they air it out and it was better. The bathroom facilities are very old and there is mould alongside the bathtub. I would love to return to Bangkok again but definitely not staying at this hotel at all.

After covid, when the hotel was closed you had plenty of time to renovate the hotel or at least clean it. They chose to do nothing, save money and deteriorate.
The balcony that should be locked at all times for security reasons was open.
The breakfast was better before covid. For westeners cereal, toast and scrambled eggs is available.  The rest is all for Asian visitors. The baked Beans and cheese slices has disappeared from the breakfast, cost cutting I guess. The breakfast bar side had fallen off and not replaced. The 80’s style laminated wood effect table in the breakfast hall is so dated and makes budget hotels look posh.
The pool area is only good for a view. The pool hasn’t be maintained at all. Had to wait for staff to go to the pool to give me the towels. Dirty floors only need cleaning and decking needs painting.
Room floors are stained. Tv programs are very basic and limited for English speakers.
I will try another hotel until this is back to standard.

Checked in to the executive suite at NYE and found a room which was not clean. Stains on the bed sheets, yellow stains on towels, stains on the floor. After complaining we were assured that issues will be solved but nothing happened. I wrote an email - no response. Next day we complained again, but again nothing happened. When I came back late at night to the hotel I talked to an employee about it who finally wanted to take immediate action to change room, but to me it was too late at night to pack luggage and change rooms - so I was assured that things will be solved the next day. The next day nothing happened. Despite Multiple complaints we had to sleep in dirty bed sheets for 2 nights. NYE party was terrible. Poor food, terrible live music.

Cardio equipment at the gym was defect, gym equipment in general was outdated.

However most of the staff was always helpful and friendly.

From outside you see the age of the hotel. But the room we stayed was in good shape: clean, spacious and comfortable. Only the AC could use some cleaning as it smelled a bit.
The pool is on the roof with a small pool bar. There would be a BBQ restaurant there, too, but because of the covid-19 situation with the few guests staying at the hotel it was closed, pity.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The price was a total bargain, which might change after covid-19 situation is gone.

I don’t know. We had tours booked before we arrived in Thailand. All of the hotel personnel are very helpful, though. They answer emails promptly, so ask them!!
