This is an Old, but Very Large Hotel right next to the Ramada Hotel & opposite the Makkasan Railway Station in the Popular Shopping Area of Pratunam of Bangkok. The Lobby is Massive, the Check-in was Smooth, the Room was Good and the Bed was Comfortable too. They however still provide a Conventional Key for the Room Door & need to upgrade to a Swipe Card. The Breakfast had a Large Spread, but mostly caters to the Local Taste, so there was not much that we could eat from it. While there was a Live Egg Station, all they offered was Fried Eggs & no Omelette, Scrambled Eggs, Boiled Eggs, Poached Eggs, or Eggs in any other form. The Fresh Fruit Selection was also Very Poor with just Pineapple & a Local Melon which was Hard and tasteless. The Salad Bar was also quite poor. The Bread Selection was just Sliced Bread and a Local Bread Toasted at a Live Counter (which was Tasty), but there were No Croissants, No Danish Pastries, No Muffins, No Rolls, No Buns, No Yogurt, No Cheese, No Ham, No Bacon and No Pork Sausages or any other Pork Items. Also, for all the 3 Breakfasts that we had there, the Breakfast was the same and there was no change in any of the items. The Swimming Pool is Large and Good for Swimmers as it is Very Deep. The Steam & Sauna is however not Free even for Hotel Guests and is Chargeable. The Service is just ok, but whilst some staff are always smiling, many others are grumpy and not friendly. Overall, a good stay if you are not too particular about the Breakfast variety.

So when you reach airport, first question arises, how to reach the hotel. Don't book a taxi or grab. It's too expensive. Take a bus from airport only that goes to Victory Monument. And now take a metered taxi or book a grab from this place to the hotel. Don't trust tuktuks, they try to charge you unreasonably if you are a tourist.
Once you reach hotel, staff is very understanding and cooperative. Hotel building and ambience is great. The person at front desk gave us the room earlier than our check- in time. Once you enter the room, amenities are not very impressive and the rooms look bit old. Specially, condition of bathrooms is not very good. Beds are small but comfortable. We never took lunch or dinner in the hotel as we were out most of the time but breakfast buffet is good. There is something to eat for a person of each and every nationality.
There are many Indian restaurants available near the hotel and they serve a delicious food. Indira market and neon markets are at walking distance and neon market is definitely great for shopping. There is very less scope of bargaining in this market but it's worth buying from there. I didn't find the same quality of stuff anywhere else. Madame tussauds and sea life Bangkok ocean world are also not very far from the hotel. Booking a grab from the hotel is the most convenient way to roam around other places but it is also bit expensive. The hotel was nearly packed and there were tourists from all over the world.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights,
what I liked:

1) Rooms were clean and coozy, breakfast had limited but good choices of food

2) Swimming pool area was desent, there was a place for tanning, mini bar had a acceptable variety of choices.

3) About location - good thing, it was right under small narrow streets were you can buy local foods, drinks etc.

Bad thing - on the other side is bridge with a lot of traffic,

and small houses with a lot of garbage around them.

But overall experience was good.

Where to start.... So on arrival the receptionist said to wait while they make the room ready for us, after 35 minutes waiting we asked him how long we need to wait, he said oh, the rooms are ready for a while. Instead of sharing this with us, he just left us sitting write in front of reception. Then they asked for deposit, which wasn't on any of the booking documents. The bed was 2 single bed pushed together, when you book a double bed it isn't double bed, so don't pay extra, waste of money. Room was dirty, shower moldy. I cannot complain about the breakfast, plenty of choices on the buffet. Swimming pool doesn't have a bar, you cannot purchase drinks or snacks during the day. The location of the hotel is good, walking distance from train station, it gives easy access to the airport. All over I wouldn't recommend it. Photos are the view from the window.

The hotel is strategically located at New Petchburi Road near the Railways and public transport.A lot of Indian guest. They have 2 gates but the other closes at night. Room is nice and clean, staff are good but hard to communicate sometimes.

Buffet Breakfast is really BAD, choices of food is limited more-of Indian Cuisine and repeatedly everyday, i guest because of the number of Indian guest even we have avail their PRIME BREAKFAST.

Just an average hotel, i have booked this hotel by seeing some excellent photos posted in google and at the price it was offerd. Hotels outside view and lobby view is great, size wise this a big hotel, but in reality when it comes to rooms its very average quality. Rooms are all with very old interiors.Bathroom accessories in poor condition. Restaurant serves breakfast with average quality. I have never seen a hotel where You cannot order eggs of your choice. They make some fried eggs thats the only option available.
Worst internet connectivity. Complementary wifi is of few Mb only. So be careful with your usage. Complementry drinking water they keep inside the room, which is also giving some worst taste. All in all i dont recommend this hotel unless you really don't have any other option. Attitude of the staff towards indians are totally unacceptable.

Our travel agency booked us here because as we requested that we should be near around the pratunam mall and night markets. Our experience here is not that amazing because they need to improve their comfort room especially their toilet-it always blocked. But on the brighter side, the staff are so kind and accomodating as well as they have a great chef because they cooked delicious foods during breakfast. We spend our 2020 new year there and my only favorite there is the different foods and freebies.

Absolute no for this hotel. I do not comment negative stays but have to share this with the other travelers and surprised that this hotel is allowed to operate on a destination which is filled with great hotels and tourism destinations. To start with the bed as well as bath linen was badly stained for both the days of stay. We had two inter connected rooms . I understand they this old is on outdated place but never expected the soft touches of hospitality not taken care of. The staff is completely rude. The top management needs to look into some of serious concerns which are not tourist friendly. The breakfast buffet closes at 10 am , the gym and pool is closed on a Sunday. My daughter wasn’t well and I had to get her some soft food, asked for a fork and the answer I got was no service. Asked for a dental kit and this was the same answer, no service. Later on we friends wanted to catch up for drinks in a room and asked for a few glasses and wine opener and were told no service. The slogan of the hotel is NO SERVICE. Fruits kept on disappearing from the breakfast buffet and were never replenished. Lastly at the time of departure we asked for only an hour of late departure and were told we had to pay. The staff had confirmed the late departure only for someone to prompt her for benign not to offer this and charge.
Horrible experience in every aspect of the service . I emphasize that I have stayed in some very old and outdated hotels but the staff are friendly and ready to help. This does not seem to be the case here.

3 of us stayed in one room (room 1215) which was ok, bed really hard wasn’t a problem for us. Pillows are like a balloon personally found it hard to sleep on so didn’t use them. Big windows overlooking town which was nice we stayed on 12th floor good views. Stayed over New Year’s Eve and stayed in so seen most of pretty fireworks. Bathroom was ok took three attempts to flush loo (weird) and had a funny low bathtub instead of shower. When we showered it didn’t really drain fast so ended up standing in a bath tub full of water. Next person had to wait a long time to shower. Room was clean and they changed towels etc daily.

Breakfast (6-10am) was included big buffet style. Lots of different choices from Thai to Indian with some basic fruit and bread. I’ve had better buffet breakfast included in Bangkok before this wasn’t my fav. We didn’t have lunch or dinner so can’t comment. It seemed there was a lot of Indian food tho.

Swimming pool is big and it wasn’t busy at all. You get towels and beds, and there’s bed topping for a softer feel. You need to collect them from the corner apart from us no one saw them tho they are a bit hidden. There’s a bar but no one had any drinks. You get more sun in the morning hours by around 2pm ish the hotel casts a shadow. It’s a bit windy up there too but lovely when it’s super hot of course. Also clean pool clean area.
