The Landmark Bangkok Hotel garners praise for its spotless rooms and recently upgraded pool area, with guests appreciating the inviting atmosphere and modern amenities. Nestled in the lively Sukhumvit district, its location offers convenient access to transport and local attractions, though the bustle may intrude on the tranquility for some.
The hotel's amenities, including the pool, spa, and club lounge, are generally well-regarded, despite calls for a wider breakfast selection. Guests have lauded the exemplary service, although opinions on value and room upkeep show some divergence.

Detailed Reviews
We arrived at the hotel at 7am on a long flight from London and had to wait for our room until noon which was fair enough but it would have been a nice gesture if we had been offered a free tea or coffee each but unfortunately we got nothing. We sat in the area above the pool in the shade with a nice breeze blowing through and a view over Bangkok until our room was ready.
The room had a TV, air con, fridge. safe, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, dried milk and 2 free bottles of water. There was towelling robes, slippers, an iron, ironing board and good free wi-fi in the room. The bathroom had soap, shower gel, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower cap, dental, sewing and shoe kits, cotton pads/buds, tissues and even a set of scales!
The buffet breakfast had everything you could possibly want for breakfast. We used the bar/café just opposite reception and although it wasn't cheap, the coffee served was lovely as was the service.
If I came back to Bangkok I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Delicious, clean, and hot Thai Chinese dishes are just what we need. The staff greeted us with alcohol (well, not that alcohol) to sanitize our hands before entering the venue. Staff takes the highest precaution placing us in not crowded area away from other diners. All wearing masks and often cleaning the tables and floors.
Food is made to order straight from the kitchen. With all the proper condiments and utensils unlike other restaurants. We will visit again soon.

Like many, I was recently stranded in Bangkok, as borders across the globe shut down. Having already moved twice due to my hotels closing, on 28th March I checked into The Landmark Bangkok.
Before continuing, I remind each reader, that during my 110 night’s stay, the professional ladies and gentlemen working at the hotel, were also having to deal with the challenges and constraints that COVID imposed, and has caused, on a personal level, though you would have never known.
For the briefer comments, the property is immaculately maintained, and is located pretty much in the middle of Bangkok, at the top of Sukhumvit Road and allowing for convenient, easy and close proximity to all central Bangkok areas, be it for sight-seeing and cultural attractions, shopping, night life, banking and embassies. To my amazement, with the property boasting over 400 rooms/suites it remained open for much of 2 months, with only 3-4 guests.....
From the day I arrived, until my departure, 16th July, I was pampered and cared for by each and every staff member. To highlight any one or a few of the property's team would not do justice to the amazing service culture, attention to detail and genuine care that was extended to me. From the doormen, front office, executive lounge, guest relations and concierge services, the restaurants and bars, rooms service, pool attendants, fitness personnel and last but not least, the amazing housekeeping team, it was home away from home, and then some….. I was regularly checked on my management from all departments though very much enjoyed the interaction held with the line staff, whom were confident, and empowered.
Bangkok has an exceptional culinary scene, possibly only second to a few other major world cities, though I was overly impressed, and simply put, ‘by the magic on the plate’ that the hotel offered. Definitely worth a visit. The spa was unfortunately not available due to the restrictions in place, though their fitness centre, is like few others I have seen…. amazing.
My final words are, thank you, thank you, thank you to each and every lady and gentlemen at The Landmark. Your lovely farewell card now sit with me in my office. As a frequent traveller, I look forward to returning when next in Bangkok.
Keep well and stay safe.
Marc

We stayed for 4 nights at the end of January. Our room was at the back of the hotel on the 18th floor and was to a degree affected by noise of an all night party behind the streets every night. We got used to it and it was a sort of dull noise however, I think if you were light sleepers it could be a problem.
The room was functional and the staff welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was extensive and a great choice of food with good service. We ate in the Chinese restaurant which was very good and also used the cafe a couple of times which was also good service and not too over priced.
We found taxi's very cheap so used them rather than public transport but if you prefer the train network it's very accessible from the hotel.

Dear sjjdxb, Thank you so much for staying with us and taking the time to provide your feedback. I am sorry to learn that you had some dull noise disturbance which can affect a light sleeper. We do provide ear plugs in each room as a precaution and it's unfortunate that we were not aware earlier to maybe move you to the opposite side of the hotel. Thank you for experiencing a number of our restaurants and cafe's and delighted to learn that you had an enjoyable experience. May I inquire the original rating from you was 4 stars but notice it has changed to 3 stars? If I can be of any assistance, please contact me directly at francis.z@landmarkbangkok.com. Once again, thank you for your patronage and we look forward to welcoming you back in the not too distant future. Kind regards, Francis Zimmerman General Manager

So I have stayed here for many years , great hotel and great fitness centre attached. It’s a bonus because guests can train free at one of the best gyms in the area. This time due to Co Vid some of the restaurants were unfortunately closed. They do have a wonderful buffet restaurant the Atrium that they had open and put exceptional measures in place so that guests could still enjoy the excellent food they have in the most non intrusive fashion and this buffet is world class especially on Sundays for brunch. They have a high end steak house on the top floor that is one of the best in the city roof top restaurant huge views of the city and some of the best steaks in all of Bangkok and way more reasonable than some of the local steak chains that charge really high prices. The sommelier that used to work there was actually top sommelier in Thailand and their wine list is really upper level. One of my favourites is the Huntsman pub in the basement , literally my sanctuary some days , I’ve known some of the staff there for 10 years and am always treated like family when I come back. Great live music in the evenings as well. I had the honour to meet a manager Mr Winit Kitchaiya I had a couple small challenges when I first arrived and he sought me out and ensured everything was taken care of and that all my questions were answered. This is just good customer relations and made me feel really validated. The hotel itself has been extremely proactive in the welfare, safety of guests and staff and have instituted precautions during this challenging time without making the environment challenging or strange like other places I have encountered. Great hotel in great location they are my choice out of all the 5 stars in the area.

This hotel is a regular favorite of ours and has been for almost 20 years, and every time we visit we are never let down.
The central location on Sukumvit is handy for Bangkok, the international airport is around 30 minutes away by taxi outside of rush hours.
The beds are really comfortable. Rooms are kept clean and tidy. The free internet is good and the breakfast is excellent.
If you like English style pubs with good food and guinness on tap the Huntsman pub downstairs is well worth a visit.
A reliable hotel with great staff that is a firm favorite for solo travelling and visits for my wife and I to Bangkok.

During such stressful times, it was very reassuring and extremely comfortable to stay at the Landmark Bangkok. The premium corner room had a spacious feeling with its large windows, city view and sunsets (as we counted off the days). The food was very delicious ( a set menu with an Asian or western choice). Desserts were always too good to pass up! The caring staff was most attentive and cautious in terms of keeping us safe and healthy. We hooked up to our netflix account for nightly entertainment. Time passed quickly.

Dear Marilyn H, Thank you so much for choosing to stay at The Landmark Bangkok. In addition, thank you for taking the time to provide your valuable feedback. We are delighted to learn that you enjoyed your experience during your extended stay with us. Food & Beverage is a hallmark of the hotel and we have tried to bring that experience to our room service dining with a variety of menu options to choose from. I fully agree, our desserts are sneaky good and I have to use an extensive amount of will power not to indulge every day. Once again, thank you for your patronage. Another great stay at the Landmark hotel. This is my go-to place for my regular travels to Bangkok; its central location allows for easy access to and from the airport, within walking distance to BTS, malls and everything else the area has to offer. The rooms, restaurants and facilities are top notch.
But what really makes the Landmark my top choice is the welcoming, and friendly staff. They always go out of their way to ensure that all my needs are met. Ms. Janya Glinkaew deserves special praise, she is a great asset for the hotel. The front desk staff is amazing as well as are all the staff at the hotel. Housekeeping is spot on to my special request; and are always prompt, friendly, and very helpful.

In past years, I have had the pleasure of staying frequently at The Landmark Bangkok. It is always a terrific value for a lovely property, and I find its location to be extremely convenient for business and leisure activities, as well as, access to/from the airport even during busy traffic hours.
But, what I like best about the property is the responsiveness and kindness of all the staff, particularly Ms. Janya Glinkaew (Guest Relations Manager). Due to family and work reasons, I have not had the pleasure of visiting Bangkok in the past six (6) months, yet Ms. Glinkaew always ensures that I am aware of upcoming events, specials, and activities hosted by the Landmark, and she has also found the time to reach out to me via email to ask for feedback about my earlier stays, noting the fact that I have not been able to visit recently, and if there is anything she and/or the Hotel can do to welcome me back soon.
It is this type of professional and personal outreach that makes the Landmark such a special place for me in Bangkok. Ms. Glinkaew and her colleagues always go above and beyond their day-to-day responsibilities, and I look forward to returning soon.

I would like to commend Mr Zimmerman and his management team on adapting precautions regarding the Coroanavirus. The Landmark Hotel has done everything possible to ensure the safety and health of their patrons and visitors, all with no fuss so for that they need to be commended. Great staff with a very friendly environment. I would make special mention for Front desk staff, Ms Eye, Ms Kik and Ms Janya for making check-in and check-out so easy, Ms Janya as their guest relations team does a fantastic job. Ms Choi for maintaing cleaniness of my room. The staff in this hotel make your stay simply great and they're willingness to assist is 2nd to none. The staff in the Terrace and Atrium are world class, Apple, Khun Low all of them are fantastic. 24 hour security ensures a nice peaceful environment. Well done to every single person, you have excelled in hard times. To Mr Zimmerman, you have much to be proud of. Regards Steve Young.

Thank you for your question and upcoming patronage of The Landmark Bangkok.
The renovations are still currently underway and we look forward to opening our new main entrance and Atrium all day dining in early May. There is no real impact to the guest stay experience as we have opened a secondary lobby and breakfast is served in the RR&B Steakhouse on the 31st floor.
The ground floor terrace and basement remain closed and will open in July.
Per your other question (sorry for the delay) the Huntsman Pub is permanently closed.
We look forward to welcoming you in March.
Kind regards,
Francis Zimmerman
