I love staying here and really appreciate the beautiful rooms and superb pool. The service's and staff are excellent and a special Thanks to Tinglee & Lockpong(restaurant) and Tisanan (reception) for their professionalism and excellent treatment with the customers. This hotel has everything you need with a perfect location near the Asok. Thank you all at Sheraton Grande for making my stay most memorable. Keep up the great work

If you want the best stay in the centre of bangkok, where you will have great services, great food, meet great staff in the greatly decorated rooms at the great location, undoubtedly choose Sheraton Grand Sukhumvit, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok. This review reflects on my two previous stays, one was during last Christmas, which was my Birthday, and another one was in April this year. I have never been disappointed by this hotel. The stays were marvelous. Last Chirstmas, my husband and I stayed in a Luxury Suit Room and Presidential Suit room in April. One would think the Presidential Suit room must be normally luxurious and glamorous. Definitely, it is, but more than that, the one here just completed our nice stay and made it much more remarkable and wonderful with the room size of 117 sqm, on the top floor, 33th floor, overlooking a beautiful lake. Bathtub and shower are separated with one fitted whirlpool master bath. Lights and curtains are controllable by one touch. Butlers is on call 24 hrs. for anything including in-room soft drinks, delicious home-made cookies, or even making ‘Bubble Bath’. The entire hotel was very clean and neat. Everyone was following Covid protocols, especially at restaurants. We rated its buffet breakfast at Orchid Café as one of the best breakfast restaurants among Marriott Bonvoy’s hotels in Bangkok, mainly because of the variety and the quality of food offered. Of course, its taste was also superb. Actually, returning to stay here seemed like coming back to see friends. Richard, Thawatchai, Veera, Nheng, P’Ann Butler were among staff, who always went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Staff at Orchid Café during Breakfast including P’Lin, Mhai and Supachai were awesome. Moreover, the reservation team, Bussakorn, Araya, Nong and Tom were professional and prompt to make your bookings pleased and perfect. While we believe that most staff here were great, some staff at the Living Room made us feel the difference between staff who worked with their service minds and with what as stated as their duty! Anyway, our overall positive impression of this hotel is so strong that we do not bother with a minor unhappy thing. The hotel is highly recommended.

One of the best city hotel in bangkok, with connecting skywalk to BTS and shopping mall, it was very convenient to get about. The food was very good, the cleanliness was high standard and the staff were very accommodating. Would very much return to stay.

Excellent stay from start to finish Friendly welcome as one would expect from the Sheraton; efficient and no fuss upon arrival. Quick check in and escorted to the room. Took advantage of a new set dinner fro one which was a 5 course, well sized portioned and a good choice of dishes. Friendly FB Manager and a great team. Breakfast buffet excellent. Great team once again. Room as you would expect - exceptional. 2nd time have stayed here (pre covid) and standards are the same even though the price has been reduced drastically during this time.

I just spent the last thirty days at the Sheraton Grand, Sukhumvit, Bangkok. I will try, but my prose, will never fully succeed in describing what a fantastic experience that I had. The staff, whether managers or front line employees, should feel so proud of their efforts and their demeanour. Few hotels, if any, can beat them. They are masters at their craft. Their precise attention to detail is impressive. Their caring of customers is automatic, yet warm and empathetic. In this hotel, top managers will even collect plates and pour coffee whilst chatting to guests and asking what else they desire, with smile. All have the same goal: to provide a rewarding experience for guests. The Marriott chain should use this property as a case study from which others can learn. Let me add some examples. They take covid seriously, ensuring guests wear masks at breakfast, taking their temperature at the entrances, and wiping down machines at the gym after guests use. The hotel feels spotless. The adherence to hygiene is ingrained. The effort to protect staff is not lip service but concerted action without it feeling overbearing. Of course, I am not sure if any of the staff have noses or mouths! But, this is because they follow the protocols meticulously. The spa services are outstanding. The hotel offers a fabulous deal, with 12 massages for the price of 10, at an already reduced rate. I had four different therapists: Jane, Tuk, Gip, Lalil. All were well trained, gave maximum effort, and provided unique techniques for the same type of massage. Tuk and Gip provide more strength for aching muscles. Jane gives a more relaxing experience. Lallil does a bit of both. Whomever you choose, you are in for a treat. Years ago when I visited Thailand more often, I was very disappointed with the massage quality, relative to what I had in Indonesia or the Philippines, but these ladies are in the top percentile. They use their fingers, palms, forearms, elbows, feet, knees, and full bodies to provide a full portfolio depending on the aches one has or muscles one needs unwinding. One leaves fully satisfied (and they are well behaved!). I recommend that guests take advantage of the spa and the gym, which has a great mix of resistance and cardio machines, plenty of free weights, as well as a stretching area. The hotel has a number of restaurants. I used two for lunch, the pool area and the library, where I additionally went for happy hour, as this is the place that Ambassador members can go during covid. The menu has a mix of dishes, Thai, Western, Japanese. The quality is quite high, and very good value for money if one skips the steak and salmon. If one chooses the pool, hopefully one will be served by Meena. She can guess what guests want before they need to ask. Despite the humidity, I went to the pool several times because of the service she provided. Happy hour offers lots of drinks - when alcohol is permitted. On Fridays and Saturdays, there is a piano player. All of the ladies work hard and never want glasses or snack trays empty. The rooms are very nice. Simple, but pleasant. The safe is large. The coffee maker is really great. The TV is large, but they lost Fox News after twenty days. It was locked or not paid. Or, the hotel went woke. Odd. The cleaning and turn down staff are lovely, so friendly and hard working. My room always looked like I had just checked in. The laundry service is efficient, and my clothes came back looking well treated. The operator staff and front desk people always delivered on requests, including assistance in booking a departure PCR test at a nearby hospital. The hotel is located across from a mall with a supermarket catering to Western tastes, along with well stocked pharmacies, cash machines, money changers, and fashion stores. It is helpful to have such a plethora of options within walking distance. In conclusion, I recommend, without reservation, this hotel, especially during this period of distancing, hygiene, and mask wearing. This Sheraton has mastered service in challenging times. If you are foreign and you can handle two weeks of quarantine in advance, this is a great place to stay afterwards. If you are Thai, this is a chance to enjoy a gem at discounted prices. I certainly hope to return once I can see everyone's face. I am so thankful for the service that they bestowed: It is, an experience like this that makes me loyal and eager to renew my Ambassador status. I head to the US for vaccination where hotels can only provide minimalist service. It should be a shock after the luxury of the Sheraton Grand Sukhumvit.
