We stayed three nights in Bangkok at the Banyan Tree and found it to be the perfect sanctuary from the busy city. Our experience of the food, pool, spa, accommodation, service and hotel generally was excellent. Our room was in fact so comfortable that we managed to entirely miss breakfast on the first morning. We were also incredibly impressed that they unexpectedly allowed us to check into our room on arrival at 9am affording us in essence an extra day enjoying the facilities. Whilst I've no doubt there are many options for high quality hotels in Bangkok, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Banyan Tree or indeed return in the future.

This was hands down the most wonderful spa experience I’ve ever had. From the welcome greeting, to the suite where we did the massage, to the massage, and the post massage snack: truly phenomenal. My husband and I went as the capstone of our honeymoon. He got a deep tissue massage with Manow and I got the Thai essence massage with Nicha. It was literally the best massage I’ve ever had. The pressure was perfect, the warm towel at the end was lovely, and every bit of tension was gone afterwards. I also want to praise Samui who helped us with scheduling (and a last minute reschedule after we but traffic), greeted us when we arrived, and came to speak with us after with treats to make sure things went well.

Probably the best hotel we have stayed at. The service and the staff were the best we’ve ever experienced by far - exceptionally sweet and welcoming and very nice to talk to. The massage guy by the pool did a superb job and fixed my broken neck and shoulders. The food and the suite on the 56th floor were both excellent. The pool had a great view and the other amenities were as well very nice. Overall an incredible experience close to the middle of Bangkok.

Spacious and clean rooms with 58 floors. Was greeted with a very warm welcome. There is a roof top bar on the 58th floor with great views, especially at night. Half an hour's to main tourist sites. Chose to take tuk-tuk to city centre to beat the traffic as it can be very busy. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast selection for vegetarian is a little limited but has good choice of fruits. Overall the hotel has a very good décor and good feeling.
