We decided to be back to the Sukhothai Bangkok again last week after we had 2 stays there last year and we were very impressed with the room, bed quality and the food served in the lounge (afternoon tea/evening cocktails/breakfast). This time, it is even better than the last two visits we had. We stayed at Club Suite type room which the size is about 90sqm with a separate living room/dining area. Starting from the check-in, we received a very warm welcome from Khun Mildly who walked us to the room and also explained all the benefits we may expect during the stay. Then the afternoon tea + evening cocktails are as good as what we had last time and far better than the lounge at the 5* hotels in Bangkok we visited recently. Another great stay 10/10 and also the lunch set at La Scala (1* Michelin restaurant) was also very good. …
Overall was a good staycation. All staff is exceptional especially Khun Mildy, she is beyond expectation. During our stay, I asked the additional set of amenity because we stay for 2 persons and normally we use it a lot. I am surprised that they sent the amenities which is cheaper to guest. I stayed in many luxuries hotels but I have never experienced this kind of service. I try to understand that the hotel would like to save cost but it made me a bit disappointed.
The Sukhothai is a green oasis in the midst of busy Bangkok. The balcony rooms are exquisite; the staff are professional and super-helpful; the food and drinks at the Club Lounge complete this amazing experience. Highly recommended!
Poor services from operater K.Gig and when talking with front manager , Sukhothai , Ms Mindly said opereator have a good track service record . So ... not thing to feed back. I will never come again. The issue occured on Feb 27 2021 , when I was waiting to confirmed to postpone the lunch booking time fr9m 12 30 to dinner at 19 00, waiting more than 30 mins and follow up to operator, K.Gid not listen to me and reply in not right answer. I questions back and she hang up the line immidiately. When i complaint with her manger , she said to defend her staff by saying that K.Gig have the excellent records. Seem to be that I not tell the truth. Bad impression , just the econimic sevices with the lux price.
An exceptional professionaly treated quarantine experience. The Hotel as well as medical staff are very friendly and well educated. Trying their best to fulfill all wishes and give you a diverting stay with enough room to live.
