Stood there just to link to Huahin after arriving very late on Airport. The hotel is - after covid-19 - very well refurbished, they used the time to renovate and modernise very well. It’s been a couple of years since my last visit to the BKK Crowne Plaza and once again the staff not only made me feel welcome but ensured I had a very comfortable stay. I had forgotten that I had booked a club level room and was really surprised to find out that I was upgraded to one of their Club suites with a separate bedroom. It was not only huge but well furnished. The large jacuzzi tub was a much needed treats after a few flights. The breakfast offerings in the Lounge were extensive and very good - fresh guava juice being my favorite. It’s the little details that were impressive like the many unique jams: pomelo lime. Who knew. Lol. The evening canapés were also very good and filling. Although I enjoy the Silom area and appreciate the many restaurants. I’d also like to highlight one particular CP team member, Emily in the Club Lounge. This young lady is a very professional and proactive IHG representative. The Crowne Plaza Lumpini Park such a fantastic addition to Bangkok. It is absolutely gorgeous. Hotel location in gay area next to lumpini park! Rooms are nice but old and poorly maintained! Air conditioner did nor work, so they switch my room! The new room i got Had broken furniture! Also the lobby is on 23 rd floor and u must take 2 elevators! Elevators are fast! Good blackout curtain! Good wifi! Did not like that u cant open window for fresh air! Strong chemical smell in the room! Beautiful barhrooms! Overall not too bad good for gays

We booked two rooms as we were with family and were pleased that they upgraded their room as well as ours. Normally we would have scored 5 stars however 2 floors were closed for refurbishment which meant the hotel bar was closed. There was a bar on the ground floor but the hotel actually starts on the 23rd floor, and the ground floor bar was outdoors so we found this a little inconvenient. Also, at breakfast there was a strange odour which we put down to the maintenance (carpet glue or similar). However the receptionist said it was a trial air freshener they were putting through the air-conditioning! We would certainly stay again

My wife and family and I stayed here for two days over Christmas 2022 and my wife and I then returned for four days in early January 2023. We had spacious comfortable clean rooms with sizeable beds, and we ate very well in the Panorama restaurant both for breakfast (where there is a fantastic choice) and for dinner - we also enjoyed the very good Chinese restaurant on th 22nd floor. I enjoyed using the fitness and the pool. The staff were very helpful and warmly welcomed us. Lumpini Park is a three minute walk away - nice to visit and to see the Iguanas ! I'd stay again without hesitation.

I’ve stayed at this hotel more than a dozen times over the years and now back after a 3 year absence. I’m an IHG Ambassador member so was pleased with the room upgrade on checking in. Nice 1 bedroom suite on the 31st floor. But there are some basic issues with this place that annoys me. Here goes: 1. The club lounge has a limited breakfast option. Basically eggs only. No bacon, tomato or toast ! Very strange. So you are forced to go to the restaurant which is a shame as I like the serenity of the club lounge in the morning. 2. Both times I’ve ventured to the restaurant for breakfast, I’m shown to my seat and left. No coffee order taken and then I have to search out a staff member to order eggs. Surely on seating guests you would take there order. This is just poor staff training. 3. The evening food offering in the club lounge is bizarre. Over fancy offerings when people just want snack food. 4. The staff in the lounge do not even know what vodka is as I have to show them every time I order one. Most seems to be left which is not suppressing. 5. I needed to arrange a transfer to the Intercontinental at Pattaya utilising the hotel car. I asked the girl in the club lounge as I have on many occasions in the past. No luck. She referred me to the desk checkin staff. No luck there either. They seemed to not have a clue on how to book there own hotel car. Finally after talking to 2 other staff members I got a quote. Then booking was another adventure with different staff. 6. I want laundry done each day but there are no forms to fill out left in my room. Again the club staff seem unable to fix this. All of these issues are so easy to fix. Staff training and focus on the customer. Basics really. Please fix them as I like this hotel but need better service.…

Would highly recommend it if you are on a business trip. The room was clean & cosy. Decent options to eat and shop, though 2 stops away (in the MRT) you have better options to shop & eat. Just next street you may find nightclubs (mostly for Japanese), bars & restaurants. Breakfast was good enough, not so grand spread. Unfortunately 1st 3 days we had to eat at the lounge as they were renovating the restaurant. Very cordially staff, you can expect "Thai Hospitality" from them. If you are a backpacker or a tourist in Bangkok looking for some "fun time" may not be a good choice, as the location is well away from those neon light areas. But if you are looking for a calm place to rest after a long day at work, have a tranquil morning walk, this is the best option, just a few meters from Lumpini Park. …

I prefer IHG hotel for my business travel and Family holiday. And Crown Plaza Bangkok didn't disappoint me. Breakfast menu is just too good with many varieties. Staff and chef were understanding and help upfront if one is in hurry and sometimes offer/pack Breakfast for later. I faced few issues with my room but Hotel management and Ms Lee helped quickly to resolve issues. Overall, very satisfying stay for business travel in Bangkok.

Stayed here for two nights. I arrived at around noon and my room was ready. As a Platinum member I got upgraded to a Premium King room at level 30. Room was spacious with amazing views of Bangkok skyline. I can see that hotel is undergoing extensive renovation with the main restaurant closed and rooms that require some refurbishment. Staff were friendly and my check in went smoothly and efficiently. Didn’t take breakfast so I couldn’t comment on that. The pool was of a good size. Elevators were very responsive which is a plus, given that you need to take the elevator twice to get to your room. Wifi was not that strong but good enough. This property is in such an ideal location, within 5 minute proximity to MRT and BTS Sky Train. Silom Plaza is also close by and you are also one station away from Samyan Mitrtown.
