Purchased a bouquet of flowers from Anantara Siam - and was dissapoonted by the quality of the arrangement they offered. I expected to not have to worry about what they would send me aftef sending over details, but boy was I wrong. Despite informing them and having replacements sent, I was told that this is their standard arrangement. Ended up binning both bouquets and purchasing from a real florist. My advice to the hotel is that if you arent able to offer a 5 star product, dont advertise yourself as 5 star hotel. I will let the photos speak for themselves.

Dear OSwander, Thank you very much for your feedback. I was regretted to learn that the bouquet of flowers arrangement with us on this occasion did not meet your expectations. Please accept my sincere apology on behalf of the team for the disappointment you had regarding the flower arrangement and the service quality. This is not reflecting our usual standard and your valuable feedback has been reviewed with the concerned departments for improvements. I sincerely hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back and look after you better in the future. Please do contact me directly at Nantapon_sa@anantara.com for any future arrangements. Coming to Bangkok to work and our staff were spread out in different quarantine 5 star hotels around Bangkok, so we were able to exchange notes and the conclusion was we had the best experience. To be fair, we had the Garden Terrace Room which gave us a lovey setting, having our own private terrace in front of a garden with the pool in the background. The room was large and having that outdoor setting made the 2 weeks much more pleasant than those who were staying in high-rise hotels with a balcony overlooking the river. The staff were constantly trying to be as helpful and understanding as possible. The reason I only gave 4 stars was the food was extremely inconsistent. More often than not it wasn't good (though sometimes great), even though we order the same dish from one time to the next. Food seemed a bit better at the Shangri La, but definitely we had the better setting.

Dear Antonyzeto, Thank you for your candid and honest feedback. I am pleased that you enjoyed your garden terrace room with it's own outdoor space. We have taken your comments about the lack of consistency of our food service to heart and we are now going through a refreshing training with the team. Wishing you a very pleasant stay in Thailand. All the best Daniel
