Badly run hotel,, ripped off with heavy wi Fi charges and complete indifference from reception manager ,,, rude ... Room stunk of smoke.. Power failure no advice ,, hot water breakdown didn't care. Be very careful when you check in and ask to view room before signing. We booked thru on line and they said we did not get breakfast... More

This hotel is very warm and welcoming the staff are very helpful and prompt. Check in you sail through. The rooms are clean well managed. The hotels security is very good also very helpful guiding you to the right way around Bangkok advising you on scams and other things to avoid. I would highly recommend this hotel if you plan... Stayed at this hotel in September. The Lobby is impressive and the restaurants are really good. But Elevators were not working properly. Rooms also had a dated look. The pillow was big and thick. I had a pain in the neck in morning. The breakfast was good. The staff attentive, but without smile on face (Unlike Thais).

Nice hotel with a convenient location downtown. The lobby and the rooms are decorated in traditional Thai style, rooms are clean and good, breakfast has several options, both Western and Asian food. At night they have a singer performing in the lobby and right in front of the hotel outside you there is a night market with everything you can... More

+ Clean rooms and big beds. Close to center. Right next to one of the most popular streets. Breakfast is good. Good piano player in the lobby. - Almost no one speaks English. Wifi is paid. The TV doesn't have almost any English speaking channels except Fashion TV. And may be no one warns you but they take 100$ cash... More

The hotel is at least 50 years old and almost no maintenance to the hotel. I was eating lunch in one of the restaurants in the hotel and I spotted a "cockroach" in their cake shelf. That really ruined my day.

The hotel itself is a nice enough hotel but definitely not 4* worthy. The rooms are dated, absolutely stink of smoke and tobacco and the bedsheets stained with blood and filthy, forget the towels which were also dirty. I got to the hotel in the evening just as a stop over before catching my flight so didn't bother to complain... More

I stay in this hotel for 3 day's. It's a businiss hotel so everyone want to use the internet. Well in this hotel you still have to pay for it. More than 200 bath a day. It's unbelievable that there are still hotels, and this is not a cheap hotel, who ask money for internet. If you go to Laos... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
