Lebua At State Tower is celebrated by many for its professional service and prime location, with easy access to the BTS skytrain and central pier, though some guests suggest being wary of touts nearby. The hotel's cleanliness and attention to detail are consistently praised, but opinions on the atmosphere and decor vary, with a mix of admiration and remarks on datedness. The amenities, including the lavish breakfast and the sky bar's breathtaking views, are popular, but some guests feel updates are necessary and prices can be steep.
Room quality receives mixed reviews; they are spacious with impressive views, yet several travelers advise that a refresh is needed. Despite these splendid features, there are frequent comments that the hotel may not offer the best value for money.

The venue immediately comes across as a high class venue with a high level of service. All staff were very welcoming, although sometimes cold in their formalities. The venue is stunning and the views from the balcony breath taking.
The only negative is they totally disregarded the request for a non smoking room and floor. I was told we have put you on a smoking floor and the explanation as to why was to give you a higher floor. The lower floors were smoking as well so unsure of the truth. They assured me the room would have no smoke smell, which it did not, but there was definitely smoke smell in the corridor. Perhaps in Thailand they do not yet take the non smoking request seriously yet ? When paying for a premium venue, the request for a non smoking room is pretty high on my expectation of achieving that experience.

Lebua Hotel is an excellent 5 star hotel that lives up to its reputation in every way. Service already at the reception and check in excellent and warm, on this occasion I would like to thank Mrs. AOOM ,she speaks perfect German and takes care of German-speaking guests immediately, no matter what you have, everything is always solved in the best way. The rooms and equipment including the swimming pool are in perfect condition ,living room, kitchen, dishes, bathroom and bedroom all tip/top .Also unbeatable is the view from the 24 floor and the balcony, as well as the roof top bar on the 64 floor. Also the roomservice plays all the pieces, my thanks go especially to Mrs. YUPHIN P., who took good care of our room the whole stay, even if we were once longer in the room, the service was just as guaranteed afterwards. The choice at breakfast is terrific, there is something for everyone and every nationality, everything fresh and varied, including the drinks, every day nice service at the buffet and in the restaurant .I have been to this hotel several times and can only recommend it. I stayed, with my partner, for 3 nights in a room located on the 21st floor of this mammoth building. From the balconies of the rooms it is possible to savor the sweet chaos of Bangkok and enjoy the sun rising or setting over the city. Nothing to say about the rooms, very spacious and clean. Staff mostly friendly and kind. The services offered are good: the building is equipped with an outdoor swimming pool (a real panacea after hours spent walking under the scorching Bangkok sun), a well-equipped fitness area, several refreshment areas (not economically accessible). We tried the restaurant adjacent to the pool which offers a wide choice of meals, both international and local Thai. Their Mango Sticky Rice is truly excellent. Decent breakfast: poor choice for people like me who cannot go anywhere near dairy products. We also stayed on the top floor of the building (The Dome), where you can admire a breathtaking view of the city and sip a drink (good but excessively expensive!). The location is excellent, from which you can quickly reach all the main attractions of Bangkok on foot or by local transport. Overall satisfied with the experience. The only flaw occurred at check out, when the reception staff made the right decision to kidnap us for a good half hour, forcing us to write a positive review about our stay at Lebua. We and our guide pressed several times on the fact that we were late and that we had to leave to reach Ayutthaya; they only let us go once the positive review was published, which was obviously canceled once we left the facility.

The hotel is very large, the rooms very spacious: living room, large bathroom (shower and bath) bedroom with balcony and great view of the city. Rooms not very soundproofed. Very kind staff, children receive a lot of attention and kindness (never too intrusive). Obviously the cost of services (bar, skybar, minibar etc. ..) have prices from 5 star hotels. Children under 7 years are not allowed at the skybar however there are many cheaper ones within walking distance. Breakfast with pool view really great for all tastes and nationalities. We will certainly return.

City view suite located on the 52nd floor, beautiful view, you could see the largest buildings in the city. One of the best hotels in Bangkok, a beautiful, very tall and rich structure. Very good location. Room definitely in need of renovation even though it was very comfortable and gigantic. We had a complete kitchen (never used), a huge living room with a balcony, a very spacious bedroom, also with a balcony. The only flaw, the bathroom. Spacious shower but old and uncomfortable taps, large but unused bathtub. The sink is located between the bedroom and the bathroom. Awkward and dim. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful, ready to look after you for every need. The very rich and varied breakfast is served on the floor where the swimming pool is, it is very nice to have breakfast by the pool. Breakfast, as well as by the pool, is also served inside, but it is literally freezing. In the hotel there are 5/6 bars and restaurants. The restaurant prices were out of our reach (from 8000 baht per person) while we had a drink both at Lebua n. 3 (located on the floor of our room, the 52nd) and at the Sky bar on floor 64 (or 65). Super professional staff but crazy prices here too, considering the average of the other rooftops in Bangkok (Octave and Vertigo for example) where we dined and drank. What can I say, I don't know if I would go back, perhaps with the price paid I would have expected a tidier room but all in all it is a very nice and prestigious "level" hotel.

Lebua exceeded our expectations. The property beautifully adorned with flowers and guests are greeted upon arrival with great hospitality. The bellmen manage your luggage as a concierge escorts you to a seating area, serves you a damp towel to cleanse your face or hands, then tea as the front desk checks you in.
The rooms are appropriately appointed and have beautiful views of the city. Bottles waters are refreshed in the room twice per day.
Breakfast buffet is outstanding! The food was excellent and provides a variety of foods from many cultures.
The restaurant selections are many with a variety of cuisine. Try all the roof top bars for memorable views of the city.
Although busy around the hotel, I would venture out to the newer Siam Discovery and Tower area for dinner. Cabs or tuktuks are always available.
An excellent choice for staying in Bangkok

We stayed here for 5 nights over Christmas, initially in a Tower room on the 54th floor and then on the 25th floor. The hotel entrance is up an obscure side street, not the ostentatious frontage that I expected. But our Tower room was spacious and had views to die for over the river. Although the Tower Room had priority on the lift to the top, not once, but TWICE the lift doors shut on me (and I was quick to try to enter) crushing my arms and I was very shocked and frankly worried about using the lift after that. We ate several times at the Cafe Mozu which was excellent. The breakfast buffet was Outstanding. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the food were generous portions and very tasty. Housekeeping often changed the settings on our Air Con in our room which was annoying as it was put on (and therefore freezing ) when we had deliberately turned if off. We did not eat dinner at the hotel on Christmas Day which had a set "Surprise" Menu which would have cost 5 of us over £3000, which we were not prepared to do especially if we had no idea what was on the menu at all.! Instead we had an outstanding dinner at the nearby Mandarin Oriental. Not sure we would stay there again...

Location: This hotel is very conveniently located with the most amazing view of the city & river and within 10 mins walk to the central pier to take a ferry to Wat Arun, Wat Pho, grand palace etc. Not only you can save time on taxi but also ferry is a fun and affordable travel option. View from sky bar is to die for in the night watching the cruise boats passing by while sipping on your drinks.
Customer service: The service at the hotel is impeccable. Very courteous staff and always available to assist. Concierge service is very helpful and guided us for sightseeing with lots of patience and without pressuring us.
Food: Breakfast buffet is awesome. We have travelled to lots of countries and stayed at nice hotels. The breakfast here is unforgettable. You name the cuisine, they have it for BF; Mediterranean, Japanese, Thai, Indian, English, American, Chinese and much more. The quality of food is really good and not run of the mill.
We also went to one of the Michelin * restaurant; Mezzaluna. What an amazing experience. Food at Mezzaluna was absolutely delicious. I gave 4 * because at Mezzaluna, a 7 course dinner for approximately $ 300.00 per person, water should have been included. They charged us $15.00 for a water bottle which I think is little outrageously high. There was no option for 4 1/2 * hence 4 * for the value of money.
Comforts: Rooms are very spacious and clean with all amenities. Bed, pillows & comforters are very comfortable and of a nice soft cotton quality. My only complaint is, I had to keep AC very low to diffuse the 2nd hand smoke smell hoping that AC will keep running circulating the air more. I wish they had a separate wings for smoking & non-smoking customers. I am sure if I had expressed my concerns to the front desk, they would have addressed the issue and moved me to another room.
All in all a very pleasant stay and will definitely stay here again. Stay here and you will not regret.

Poor check in experience - it was implied we hadn’t paid enough and should have reserved the room type the night before to ensure we got what we booked 10 months earlier as the hotel was busy meaning we had rooms on different floors and of the wrong type (twin not king). The manager was patronising and expected us to understand that it was high season and as we hadn’t called the day before it became our fault. Security deposit is $300 a night Luggage took 45 minutes to get to rooms from check in and room changes Rooms are now dated and in need of updating Sky bar standards in terms of clothing have lapsed meaning anyone can turn up in shorts and trainers rather than the exclusive experience that is promised. The cost of drinks is astronomical! Go to the shangri -la and you can get 3 drinks for the price of one at the sky bar. Breakfast is extensive but so very busy and hectic. It felt claustrophobic Swimming pool is actually small with limited sun loungers There are only 3 lifts for the Tower rooms and all the bars and restaurants so you can be waiting up to 15 minutes just for a lift - no one is going to walk 52 flights of stairs down or up…. We booked this hotel as a treat for the end of the holiday and out of the 3 we stayed in (others were 4 star) it was the worst experience. Staff were generally patronising or disinterested and the actual rooms were tired & in need of an update. When locals heard where we were staying they said it relied on its reputation rather than its actual service and this was so true. Stay somewhere else!!!

Stayed here for two nights, totally sick good service and facilities. 10 on cleaning😍 we had free lounge on the 52th floor, strongly recommended. Almost all of the food and drink takes place on 64 floors, where it is expensive but it is optional. Simply one fantastic hotel and destination ❤️
