My Wife and I had a very pleasant Stay during our 15 Quarantine, everything was handled very Professionally by the excessively friendly staff and everyone was very accommodating to our needs and wishes . The food was very good and Progressively got better and better as we passed various stages (Covid tests ) during our stay here. The rooms are very nice and spacious and having a balcony made a huge difference considering our confinement . My wife and booked two Adjacent Deluxe rooms which in our opinion was perfect as it allowed us privacy when needed during our 15 day confinement with the freedom to see and spend time with each other as we pleased following our first Covid test. There are two outdoor recreation areas that one gains access to following successful Covid Tests that have outdoor seating options where one can order various non alcoholic drinks(smoothies, cappuccino, shakes etc) as well as snacks and starters which where all delicious . Do take Advantage of the massages that are offered during your stay as it relaxes and helps to break up the monotony. Tips: 1) Bring along any Snacks, sweets or candies you might desire during your 15 stay 2)Bring your own media Streaming device or even game consoles if desired as one can Easley connect to the TV’s and it makes a huge difference in passing the time . 3)Bring some detergent to wash some of your own clothing in the sink as hotel prices are quite high for this service . What bothered us: Only thing we wished they improved on would be how much time we where allowed to spend out of our rooms. The 1 1/2 hours felt to short and would say an extra 30 mins and being able to split up said time in to two session would make a big difference. The Plastic booties/bags all the Guests have to wear on/over any worn footwear are pointless and annoying and completely useless in preventing a potential Viral spread (none of the Hotel Staff frequenting the same areas as the guests wore these FYI) A simple liquid walkthrough disinfecting bath station used for similar purposes would be a much better and convenient option . All in all we would highly recommend the Anantara for your Quarantine stay in Thailand .…
Our family of 4 is at the midpoint of its ASQ. From the time of making the booking, to transport and check in, to day to day hospitality and service, all have been on point and reflective of a top notch hotel and management. The reservation team (special recognition to Khun Fon) and process was extremely attentive and responsive, to make sure all the pieces were in place for our arrival. We were efficiently swept from the airport to the hotel, when efficiency was priority, and everything clearly put in place for the different stages of the ASQ. The room provided - even if not your luxurious in any way - is perfect, in size, type, cleanliness and comfort. The beds and towels are top notch, adequate spaces for remote work/schooling, and if you bring your own video casting device, the hotel kindly configures so you can choose the content of your TV. The internet connection is strong, even if there are occasional glitches that might cause a hiccup in video meetings but that, with a little patience, are relatively easy to navigate. Most importantly, the sliding glass doors that allow us to step on to a balcony, enjoy the view of the river/city, and feel integrated with the outdoors is one of the most prized features of our room that is easing our transition through this stage. Beyond how surprisingly good the food has been, although understandably in 3 stages of progressive improvement (pre-covid test 1, post-covid test 1, post-covid test 2), we have been impressed by the outstanding responsiveness and care on anything food-related. The team has accommodated each and every request with kind attention. The health team is also top notch, in terms of competence and attention. The relaxation area provides some additional space after covid test 1, and is attended by a fantastic team, including Khun Mina and Khun Dave. What more could one want?…
The overall service is good. Staff is friendly and helpful. The dining experience is good and much better than I expected. The room and other environment are clean. Nice experience here. I love the coffee here :)
I live here for arrival quarantine. In these few days I order food delivery by daily and the taste is really good for the hotel restaurant. Also, the hotel service is great. Everyone is nice and kindly. Especially staffs - Nina, Field, Tua, Ball, Paully, Nan, Toto and Joy. Thanks a lot.
Unfortunately, I booked the Anantara Riverside resort in Bangkok for my 15 days mandatory quarantine. I had booked a standard room (They call it Deluxe!) All of the deluxe rooms are on the North West face and NONE of them get any sunshine during the day. I tried changing rooms three times but could not find a room where I could get a bit of sunshine. to make matters worse a lot of the rooms have no views so it is like being in a prison. The first room I had was on the 3rd floor and looked onto a car park wall about 10 meters away and there were palm trees obscuring any view. When I first complained the moved me to A 7TH floor room on the NW corner of the "OLD" building which had a bigger balcony and a bit of a view but again no sunshine. The room was old and badly fitted out, the shower was above the bath and only produced a trickle of water. I moved again after one night and they moved me back to the same building on the 7th floor. This time I have a bit of a view over the carpark wall but still no sunshine. When I complained again, the duty manager brought out a map of the resort and pointed out to me that none of the Deluxe rooms get any sunshine!! I asked to be upgraded to a junior suite which are the only rooms where you can get some sunshine but he told me they were all fully booked!!! So, if you have a choice....go somewhere else other than this hotel.... The meals delivered to your room are average at best...…
