With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.

A great little hotel, large comfortable beds and big rooms rarely found in hotels in this price range. Hotel is located at the top of the Soi only 100m down from Sukhumvit Road. Probably 3 star level, but this hotel impresses at this level. Staff are good and friendly, large welcoming lobby and outside recreation area around a nice little garden and pool on the ground floor. Pool on the roof was small with little shade but welcome just the same. I can highly recommend this hotel for budget conscious travellers

The reception staff were disinterested and unwelcoming upon check-in. The lobby is deceptive and looks quite grand compared to the rooms, which were tired, dark and had very low ceilings. All the fixtures and fittings have seen better days. The photos on booking.com don’t hold true in reality. The location isn’t bad, but isn’t as close to the BTS as it is described. The pool was cloudy and dirty and a lot smaller than in the photos. We headed out for the day and the thought of returning to our rooms was too depressing, so we decided to forfeit the 2 nights we had paid for. For a similar price or a just a little bit more you can find much better value for money at other hotels nearby. Recommend avoiding.

Aspira Grand Sukumvit, is a nice hotel. I enjoyed my stay-(only 1 night). The staff are a little untrained but do their best to help. Many restaurants all around. I recommend this hotel, nice room, clean. I enjoyed it,- but no hotel restaurant

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times before and its be great. But this time has been one of the worst stays I’ve had in a hotel. First thing staff are very nice and helpful, let’s get that bit out of the way. Ok the room, the shower leaked water all over the floor so the bath towel was soaked every time you used it, that’s if you could actually get the shower to work. It’s that bad my wife has had to have a bath because we still can’t get the shower working. 3 times did the maintenance man come to fix it. He also had to come for the toilet not working properly, and the safe which locked us out with our things in. We had to ask housekeeping for toilet roll as there was less than half a roll, they only left one towel for 2 of us and no hand towels at all, had to go to the reception and ask them. Unfortunately this is the last ever time we would stay here. I’m so disappointed, and glad we check out today early. 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩

We stayed here for a week while my husband had some dental work done in thonglor. We extended our stay twice - do this through booking.com or Expedia as you get better price than trying through the front desk. We really enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived Bo on the front desk was efficient, helpful and always a cheerful smile. The breakfasts - we were spoilt for choice, including fresh cooked eggs. Fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast, coffee, tea, juices, fresh vegetables, rice, fried potato, french toast and more!! The pool on the top floor was nice, hardly saw another person in it. Pool towels provided in the pool area. The bed was phenomenal, huge and so comfortable. The room, we were on 5th floor., was huge, comfortable chairs, desk, flat screen TV, just perfect, quiet even though we were in the middle of Bangkok.
