It's clean, cheap, the breakfast is delicious and safe, and most of all, the staff is really friendly.
The hotel is very clean
There is Bic C nearby, the Esplanade large shopping mall is close, and the night market is close. The hotel calls a taxi, stores all your luggage, and even puts it in the taxi, so I don't think it's any different from the service of a luxury hotel.
There are buildings 1, 2, and 3. I stayed in building 2 and it was clean.
I highly recommend it to travelers who arrive early in the morning and think it is a waste to pay a lot of money to stay in a good hotel when they only get a few hours of sleep, and to travelers who still want to choose a cost-effective accommodation.

The hotel is very suitable for a 2 week stay. The hotel is located in the cozy Ratchada area near the metro station. The hotel has 2 towers - the Old building and the new building. If you need a Luxury room, I advise you to take it at a good discount for 7 nights in Tower A. There is a good breakfast! The pool is present and constantly maintained in a clean condition! Nearby is a large Big C store!

Stay in Tower 3. Pros: It was small but beautiful. You can go through the supermarket to mrt. Breakfast is included, and cospa is good. Dissatisfaction: I can't watch youtube or netflex on TV. The counter staff are not very responsive. Breakfast tastes free, so that's about it. Review: 3-star class

never ever stay in this hotel anymore!!! Poor service, dishonest staff.

I stayed in this hotel several times before for my business trip. Yesterday I found that I lost some money which I kept in a locked up drawer. I reported to the Front Desk Manager immediately. Unfortunately (and to my surprise), he queried that it was all my mistake and did not appear to have the intention to help. I was so angry and disappointed with the service team and the Front Desk Manager. Undoubtedly, it was a horrible experience and I had a feeling that the Manager had known about hotel theft. If you want to stay at this hotel, please take my advice seriously and re-consider. Try not to deal with this hotel or stay there if at all possible.

Response from Bognkorn P, Owner at Prom Ratchada Hotel
Responded Sep 11, 2012
Dear Chan, Greeting from Prom Ratchada Residence and Spa! First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Apapat and I am the Hotel Manager of Prom Ratchada residence. I am truly sorry to hear that you have a bad experience in staying at our place. Our management is aware of this incidence and we definitely do not ignore the problem as customer satisfaction is our primary business objective. I was informed by the front office manager who was on duty on the night of 2nd September that you came to inform that 1,000 Baht was missing from the drawer in your room which you had already locked the drawer and kept the key with you while you were out of the hotel. At that time, our front office manager took her action by replaying CCTV during your stay and found no one entering your room except our housekeepers. So our front office manager informed our house keeping manager to examine the case. All of them insisted that they never took it as housekeepers do not have drawer keys. After the examining process, our team informed you the result. At that time, you seem to be O.K. and did not request for further action. We truly apologize that we could not relieve your concern and make you satisfy with our problem solving process. However, our staffs do take this problem seriously and they tried their best to solve this problem for you. After receiving your e-mail , I have examined this case by myself and found the same answer. To prevent this problem in the future, I already gave all staffs a warning that the highest punishment will be implemented if such case happens again in the future. I truly hope that you can accept our apology and that you will consider our residence as your choice of stay for your next trip in Bangkok. If there is anything at all that I can do for you to make you feel better, please do not hesitate to contact me. Best Regards, Apapat Siripat Owner

This hotel just opened last February (2012). It is super clean. Super pool and chairs. Super smiling staff. Very close to MRT Thailand cultural centre Station. Super cool market (no tourists) at the end of the street where you can buy everything (clothes, sunglasses, stationary, jewelry, etc). Biiiiigggg North American style Super market next door: Big C. That is my hotel in Bangkok from now on! Thank you to the staff, very helpful! You can leave luggage there while you travel around Thailand. Thanksssss

Simple hotel but gives you all you need.
Located at Ratchada road, just at the back door of Big C mall which is fantastic a/c corridor that leads you directly to Ratachada rd and another 4 minutes walk to the subway station (MRT). Rooms are fine: Wide, clean, good maid service. Breakfast is very basic but he - this is Thailand. You can find all the greatest food in the world just outside of the hotel. 7/11 is just behind the corner. Many food stalls just in front of the hotel. Laundry coin machines (20 baht) can be found with a minute walk from the hotel. Check in/out very quick. You need to pay 500 baht as deposit upon check in which you get back on check out.

We had booked this hotel for 5 days via Booking.com as part of a 3 week trip to Thailand for our wedding anniversary. We had booked B&B. The hotel is located in a very busy district close to the Night Railway Market, which is excellent. That, and the swimming pool are probably the only good reasons to book this hotel. It's very clean but it's not a four star establishment. It's more like a hostel with it's compact rooms with their tiled floors and the list on the wall with the price of every item in the room, warning you how much you will be charged if you break anything. This cheapens the place somewhat.

The staff are not particularly friendly, apart from the door men, who are really nice. I was quite disappointed with our room as it was small and looked out onto a back street. Although it was our wedding anniversary, it wasn't acknowledged by the staff. I had emailed a request to the hotel months before arriving but never heard back from them. They had presented us with our breakfast vouchers when we arrived and in the room there was a menu with the 6 breakfast options on offer. I quickly realised that I could eat nothing on the menu as I'm coeliac and everything on each set meal contained wheat and gluten. When I went to the reception and asked for a refund on my breakfast they refused, and were quite rude about it. I then emailed Booking.com and I presume they contacted the hotel as about an hour later I received a 'phone call from reception asking me to come down for a refund.

Apart from that our stay was very enjoyable. We have been to Bangkok before so getting around wasn't a problem and the metro was about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. I noticed that the metro was no longer doing the 3 day pass but travel isn't that expensive anyway so that wasn't an issue. We used the river boats a lot - the orange flag boats are about £0.40 per journey and the best way to travel around. We visited the Chinese market, the Khao San Road, Wat Pho, the Medical Museum, which is brilliant, and the Museum of Royal Barges, which is basically the shipyards, with workers drilling and painting away while you step over them (a health and safety nightmare but well worth the visit).

The Railway Night Market is brilliant. We spent every one of our 5 nights there. There is a great variety of cheap food and at most of the bars you can get 3 large bottles of beer for about £6. Be wary of the bars advertising the cheapest deals for the 3 bottles as they are not factoring in the charge for the ice bucket, and you will need an ice bucket for your beers as it is so hot, - even at night!

The plus points of this hotel is its beautiful swimming pool, which is pretty cold as it is always in the shade, but lovely nonetheless, and its close proximity to the night market, which is fabulous. However, if you want a four star hotel this is not the place for you and I would probably book another hotel when I return to Bangkok.

There is a back way to the night market and a whole lot of food stalls that we use but difficult to explain as after leaving the hotel, turn left then left again passing the 7 Eleven on your left then left again to pass Srivara Mansion 2 on right then Srivara Mansion 1 on right going through their back side gate on right & turn left up that street and it is in front of you through the brick wall. Easy when you know how but possibly quicker that the main road.
