The good part: we had a fantastic stay over here during our weekend trip. The room was nice and staff generally very friendly. In particular I would like to mention our Thai cooking class with local market tour: this was a truly amazing experience! Chef Damri and his assistant were very pleasant company and they taught us how to make... More

I now live in Bangkok and recently rather than messing with the roads and airport to get to an island or the coast I took visitors for a weekend stay at The Siam. Magical luxury with authentic Thai service - a true hospitality experience that we are still talking about. We paid for River View Pool Villas and the value... More

We were upgraded to one of the pool villa courtyard suites, and after a few days sightseeing in Bangkok this was an absolute oasis away from the heat of the city. The art deco rooms with vaulted ceilings allowed us to shut out the city and recharge. A holiday within a holiday. The touches across the hotel from the art... More

I was blown away by this property. The decor and rooms are simply out of this world. The staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. Food is delicious and fresh. The entire experience was seamless, every little detail was taken care of, I have never experienced anything like it. A massive shout out to all the staff at the Siam Hotel,... More

By far, one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Spent four nights and the butler service was most attentive, exceptional and meticulous. The service combined with the privacy of the hotel made is very special and felt like we were the only guests. Loved the amenities and the gym facility. The food was also wonderfully prepared that I didn't... More

This is an extraordinary hotel. The food is wonderful, the team are great and the service is truly excellent. The whole place is amazing - from the Gym (fitted with the most modern equipment, but still feeling stylishly retro), to the Bar, to the traditional teak house restaurant overlooking the river, to the private screening room to the map room,... My husband, 5 year old daughter & I stayed here this weekend & had the most amazing time. We were all totally wowed by the design & layout of the hotel. The owner's collection of antique pictures & artefacts were incredible even our 5 year old daughter was super impressed. We ate at the hotel on the first evening &... More

Stayed here in May 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The rooms and facilities are beautiful. Choose a pool villa - it's well worth it. Also, the cooking class is a real treat. The only downside is that it is quite far removed. If you can, take the boat shuttle, it's normally a lot faster than a car.

The location of the hotel is quiet. It's a beautiful piece of architects with beautiful interior design and security system. As suggested and booked by the staff at the reception working at Siam@Siam Design Hotel, Pattaya, we liked this hotel at the first sight. Room is large, nice, clean, well furnitured with modern bathroom with tub. Bed is comfortable. Enjoyed... More

Staying in Dusit

Neighborhood Profile
Dusit
When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city. The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens wouldn't be out of place in an European capital, and the serenity here is in stark contrast with the chaotic city life outside of its complex walls. Dusit is one of Bangkok's oldest districts, and while the rest of Bangkok is modernising at a rapid pace, Dusit seems to have stood the test of time. Come here to find family businesses in traditional shophouses, small-scale local markets and streets unfazed by modern city life.
