This is just so relaxed and homey you just feel like staying forever. Joy is the best, always so cheerful and is the lady who owns it, cleans it, helps you in every possible way, socialises with you in the downstairs lounge in the evenings, organises your bus, flight, train and taxi fares AND knows the cheapest way to do everything....

A nice little hostel not too far from the sky train , provides a spacious room with great beds and Shower. The owner joy is fantastic to talk too and provides great recommendations in the area. There is also a tops and 7/11 quite close so your shopping needs are dealt with.

The staff are absolutely delightful, speak very good English, can help you out with whatever you need. I was just stopping by on my way to Cambodia but I will definitely be returning for a few more days on my way back through Bangkok. Lovely rooms and dorms at an affordable price, only 2km from the centre awesome location, not...

Room is basic but you get what you pay for. Very affordable, strong WiFi, and conveniently close to a lot of shops. Nearest train station is also within walking distance. Worth checking out is the Rachana noodle house that's just 3 minutes away by foot from this hostel. Overall, it's really Joy, the kind, friendly, and knowledgeable owner, who makes...

Stayed here for 4 nights. The hostel owner is very nice. The rooms are clean, but very basic. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. Location is 10 minutes walk from the nearest skytrain station. We didn't regret staying here, but I feel you can get more for the price in other places.

We had a great stay at joy's, very much nice and helpfully host. We hope we did not leave in too much of a mess and want to deeply apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your great hospitality and advice on Bangkok and it's attractions. Maybe one sees each other again. Yours, T+L

I have stayed at U Baan 4 times in the last 6 months and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bangkok. It's a 5 minute walk from the BTS with great local food and 7/11's within 2 minutes of the hostel. The air con is great and the Wi-Fi is really fast. There is a small but nice common area downstairs...

We found the hostel hard to find from the map and a few other backpackers said they struggled as well, but once we got there the host Joy welcomed us and was very friendly and helpful. There is a nice little communal area downstairs and our room was spacious, comfy and good air con. The wifi is very fast as...

U-Baan is our favourite of all guesthouses we've stayed in our travels. Stayed there three times and will absolutely stay there next time we're in lovely Bangkok. The double rooms are perfectly clean and have all you need. Wifi extends even to the fourth floor. So comfortable, would gladly just live in one of the rooms for ages :D Location...
