Detailed Reviews
I have switched to serviced apartments as opposed to hotels as they allow for a more homelike stay. The last one I tried was excellent but too far from BTS—15 minute walk each way.
This was great—very near to Chong Nongsi—but the direct path was being torn up so the walk was more than I anticipated. Nonetheless, this is a temporary situation.
The facilities, staff and value were great. The pool is beautiful ad big enough to swim laps. They also have washer/dryer available so that sweaty, moldering clothes have hope.
Great spot. Will use agin.

The rooms were a good size we had a 3 bedroom apartment, the 3rd bedroom was a small glassed off area with a single bed. The apartment was equipped with the basic kitchen items including a microwave and had a washing machine. the other 2 bedrooms were a good size 1 with an ensuite. The pool was small but refreshing in the heat, there was a small cafe in the lobby. Several 711's in the vicinity and food stalls at night and a short stroll to a lot of restaurants.

Great location (4mn on foot from two BTS stations, 2mn from two 7/11, many restaurants in walking distance), very helpful and friendly staff, and a beautiful view from the rooftop pool (truly the highlight of this hotel). All necessary utensils and accessories are available in the suite, which was clean and tidy, and the kitchen annex was very handy when bringing takeout food late at night. All in all a great experience for the price.

Stayed here for 8 days… basically a serviced apartment with good size rooms and quiet location but in easy walk to bars and BTS… very friendly mix of older/ younger and more permanent longer term customers which says a lot. Nice pool and basic gym. Coffee shop serves great coffee and add ins such as almond milk. Would recommend if you want a bit of real living in the centre of BKK. Not a Martiot but that made it better.

+1
These apartments are great value for money, they are not luxury but if you want luxury you have to pay for it. The apartment is very spacious with numerous places to store your items especially where needed in the bathroom. Some balconies face The Ritz which is pretty close and has noisy a/c , my room 606 is on the opposite side of the building and has pleasant views over the rooftops of the neighbourhood, which is great as I asked for this type of room when booking. Some rooms below this will have very restricted views. These apartments are amazing value for money which is great as I have booked to return in January and March.

I highly recommend you stay at the Sabai Sathorn Apartments. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. The staff is friendly and joyfully accommodate your needs. It’s centrally located near BTS and PotPong Night Markets. The pool and gym are well kept and very enjoyable, especially at night. As a businessman with 25 years of traveling experience, I highly recommend you stay here. You’ll be glad you did!

Negatives:
Noisy - Our room was on ground floor. It was very noisy until late night due to people slamming their room doors when entering or leaving the room and also people talking in corridor we can hear them very clearly in our room.
Unfriendly staff - staff was not friendly when asked for help.
Positive:
Excellent location

We were so disappointed, after hours of research we certainly chose the wrong place! We booked for 5 nights and stayed for 2 nights, it was just nowhere near our expectations of what a 4 star apartment in Bangkok should/is like... and we have stayed in various places in the city many times. The staff did nothing wrong, in fact they were really friendly and helpful.. it's just that the reviews that we read and the pictures we looked at did not resemble the reality at all. Our expectations were obviously too high! I saw sabai classed as a "hidden gem" ... well it's certainly a cubic zirconia rather than a sapphire!

It is well connected with a BTS station 3 mins away and two 7 elevens and good restaurants

Booked it for 2 nights. We were very disappointed when we realised that pictures on booking site looked better than the actual state of the hotel. Hotel is worn-out. Room felt very crammed. Bathroom had a clogged sink, broken toilet bowl and low water pressure. The pool was dirty and cold.
We stayed there because of the location and proximity to BTS station. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Attention smokers! this hotel has a strict non smoking policy. Even though we had a balcony, smoking was forbidden. You cannot smoke in the pool area as well. So every time you want to have a cigarette, you must go outside.
This hotel is oriented to long term stays, but in my opinion it’s good just for a night.
Sorry, but there will be no next time, Sabai Sathorn.
