This hotel is located not too far from main road but quite a walk to MRT Station. Compare to other hotels in the area, this one is a bit more expensive with same quality of room and standard of service.
First time staying at this hotel. Hotel is inside a Lane from the Main busy road. But its just a 2 mins walk from the main road. Hotel lobby was small but staff was cheerful. Checking in was a breeze. Room is big and very standard with all the necessary amenities like towel, toothbrush, soap and shampoo. There is also a hairdryer and 2 pieces of plate and a fork and spoon. The fridge seems awkward as its normally used for homes. There is no Face towel and I had suggested to the staff below to inform the management to do something about it. Room keys are used instead of Card Keys. Suspect this was an Apartment before being converted to a hotel. As for the surrounding of the hotel, nothing much to eat downstairs except the 2 stalls selling Drinks and Coffee in a Cafe Style. There are two 7-11 and two pharmacies just downstairs the hotel. Once you comes in from the main road by turning left, you will see a very posh Dubai Massage Spa. From the hotel, you will need about 8 to 10 mins walk to the nearest Metro station Huai Khwang. There you will find eateries, massage parlous, and a mini night market that sells clothings most. If you want to visit the famous Rachada Train Night Market, just take the Metro train to Thailand Cultural station which is only 1 station away. Esplanade Mall is the landmark and just walk thru this mall, you can find the Night Market which opens from 6pm to 1am. Overall, its a budget hotel with simple settings and not a bad location to stay.…
Wasn't the first time I've been to this hotel but first time staying here. It is simple, no fancy hand towels or bedroom slippers which is fine considering their rates. However towels are always freshly changed, mattress hard but feels good, air-conditioning and fridge works. Shower pressure is good and the temperature of the water. Stayed here for 5nights and somehow I suspect that I'd be back again if I don't miss the city buzz.
Very accommodating staff. Room is cleaned spick and span every day. No washer/dryer but there's a good laundry shop nearby. Aircon is a little noisy, but it works (especially in this heat)! Food options around the hotel are good (less than a minute's walk), and 7-11 is literally just next door. Due to the way the aircon unit is placed, it might get a little stuffy when sleeping. The yellow overhead lighting is very conducive for the night, but if you need white light, you'll probably need a flashlight. There's no safe box here, but a drawer with a lock. They key for the drawer is on the keycard and if you wish to lock/unlock the drawer without removing the key from the card, do it quick as the room light gets cut off rather quickly.
After staying in at least 20 different hotels in Bangkok over the years, and being disappointed each time, where photos didn't match the place, or photos were taken some 10 years ago or more, finally a place that is well appointed and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and functionally modern and roadside food vendors compete with food shops with typical Thai cuisine. You won't be disappointed.
