No. Thailand has 220volts 50 Hertz supply so your 110v 60Hz devices won’t work unless they take both voltages. Some hair straighteners like GHD do. You can buy a transformer but they tend to be only rated for low current... More
No. Thailand has 220volts 50 Hertz supply so your 110v 60Hz devices won’t work unless they take both voltages. Some hair straighteners like GHD do. You can buy a transformer but they tend to be only rated for low current devices like fans. I think the hotel room has its own hair dryer. We came from UK so our devices only needed a plug adapter. Most sockets take US style 2 flat pins but some take 2 round pins. Hope this helps
