We like the location coz its right infront of everything. We were able to sleep well coz of its blind curtain.AC is quite noisy but tolerable. Front desk staff were not friendly/nice though. They must look approachable atleast coz they are in this industry. They were not flexible with the rate at all.

Would never book this hotel again. Room rates are expensive, they do not give you the quality you pay for. Rooms are veryveryVERY noisy at night. Staff wasnt very kind. Normaly I am not the type of person who complains a lot. I am a budget traveler, so I am used to these kind of things.. This time I was...

I saw a lot of reviews talking about loud noise for all hotels on KSR. First of all, if you're not there to party then why stay somewhere right in the middle of it? That being said, I could barely hear any music playing, perhaps it's because our room was facing the alleyway but I slept fine. The room was...

I loved this palace. Little bit pricy for a backpacker but totally worth it! Shared the room with a friend and I had the best sleep. I had a private TV, access to a rooftop pool, hot water shower and is right on the populous Khosan road. Great place. I highly recommend staying here!

Enjoyed our 2 night stay, great location in the heart of the action, nice lobby area with ATM, cafe, 7/11 at the door, staff happy to help with taxis. Room was pretty basic and very dusty, bathroom was functional.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights and that was plenty. The hotel is primely situated on the Khaosan Road which is backpacker central. The room itself was fine but be warned the shower is not to western standards with just a shower head located right beside the toilet meaning that the bathroom is soaked after a shower. The rooftop...

Definitely the nicest place to stay on khao san! The whole hotel was always spotless. Which we didn't find anywhere else! Service was nice when we spoke to them. Rooftop pool and bar was fantastic for a break away from the rush of the road!

We stayed here two nights when first arriving in Bangkok. We had a pleasant experience. It was a nice budget hotel right on Khaosan Road and the action is right there right when you walk out the door. When you walk out, there's bars, restaurants, and several vendors selling clothes and street food. I would recommend this hotel if you're...

Reading the reviews beforehand we were quite worried about the staff as they said they were unfriendly and horrible. We found nothing wrong with the staff, I think if you behave well and respect the room and other people staying there then you won't have any problems with the staff. My friends and I found it a good place just...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
