We had a great stay here! This is the best place to stay in Bangkok as it's in walking distance to the sky train and the metro station. There are lots of places to eat nearby and the Patpong Market is open everyday right outside the hotel
The room is clean, very spacious and provides all the amenities you would need. The wifi is great and there is a working/ chilling area in the lobby to relax/ work
All the staff are polite and ensure that you have a pleasant stay.
We have stayed here 4 times and will continue to do so every time we return to Bangkok

I checked in on 9 August , a total of 6 days, and 5 nights. When I arrived at 930pm , when was arranged at 4 floor. Without a safety box, in the room, when required, changes the room with safety box was told need to pay extra 500 Tb. I toilet the counter on 25 July. I have send a E.mail to the duty manager. I need a safety box in the room, and the front staff said he is not sure and needs to check tomorrow morning the duty manager. Room doesn't have coffee.tea, no hand towel, slippers, hair dryer, USB plug, need to purchase on your own adapter. Room with a lot of black fly, you can see the pictures attached. Next days approaching duty manager 1 tall fat guy with white shirt, he Bern very rude telling me, this is a budget hotel and cheap hote, if you need so many thing you can stay 5 hotel, I'm not very happy . Good thing is opp popong night market,and nights spot, very busy and noisy area, food and thing us expensive here, if you with family don't stay here. Room window no view, open a litter window can see next guest room , infront of view is other hotel lobby.

56 Surawong Hotel is one of the nicest budget hotels I've ever encountered. And although it's quite inexpensive, the room size and amenities and general fee of the place are of the caliber of a much more upscale hotel. Beautiful large rooms, excellently decorated, friendly staff and great location. It's in the Surawong//Silom area, directly across from Night Market. Plenty to do and see in this area, and both Sky Train and metro stations nearby for easy public transportation. The staff are both friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to make you feel at home and answer any questions. Highly recommended!

I was lucky enough to select this property for my ASQ in late April. The room was an interconnecting room, now a one bedroom suite with 56SQM of space. Ideal for a couple and maybe even a child also. Bathrooms are small but nicely appointed with a great shower and hot water, The beds are really comfortable and they have planned out seating well. A desk for computer work, a relaxing chair with footstool, 2 further rattan chairs and a sofa. Tv’s in each room so no need to fight over channels. Food is mostly asian with some western provided during the stay and room service is available if you want to have something different. Whats missing - no netflix app on the tv and no mirror cast either, a dining tale as the coffee tables re a little low to eat but other than that everything else is just fine. I was really happy with my stay and would return and use the Hotel again during normal times as its location is perfect.

56Surawong Hotel offers a great location near MRT, BTS, and Patpong Night Market, ideal for those wanting easy access to shopping and nightlife. The rooms are clean and modern, but noise from the nearby road can be disruptive at times. Despite the noise, it's a solid choice for its convenience and value.

Went to 56 Surawong to enquire the hotel. The staff, AEY was so professional and patient to show us the rooms twice as we got confused after the 1st review. She was very patient and displayed great sales tactics that we decided to book 2 rooms, one for 11 nights and one for 10 nights - all charges paid on the spot.

For our stay in Bangkok we slept and had breakfast at this hotel. The property is close to the metro stop, 5-7 minutes walk, and not far from the center. Outside the hotel there is everything, supermarkets, stockbrokers, banks, souvenir shops and restaurants. International breakfast which is offered in the lounge of the Indian restaurant which is next door. Large room with minibar and air conditioning. The rating is not 5 stars because we had a problem with the refrigerator that was not working. Two very young boys came to see what it was, said one of them that they would return, but more seen or heard. Relaunched the request, they postponed to the next day but more seen or heard. This needs to be improved. Laundromat present. Friendly reception staff, special thanks to Mr. Pitsanu (Mai) very kind and helpful who helped us with our needs.

This is great hotel in one of Bangkok's most interesting areas. While it's a budget hotel in terms of cost, 56 Surawong Hotel has the feel of a much more upmarket hotel. Large, spacious rooms that are well designed and with very nice aesthetic. Staff at front desk very helpful and friendly. Location is great, right across from Patpong Night Market, near Silom Mall and close to Lumpini Park, probably best and largest park in Bangkok.
