Nice acommodation and well located, also is very clean and very cheap... I hardly think someone can find something better and cleaner in that zone. Be aware that this zone is a party one where all the foreigners stay, so despite is noisy the rooms don't have a problem.

This is the perfect stop off hotel if you are taking the Lomprhia bus/ferry to Koh Tao. Very central to many excellent restaurants and shops in the Ko sarn road area. Nice friendly staff and clean rooms.

If you are the type of person who loves partying and lively night life then this hotel fits for you. The price is worth the stay. Near to atm machines and 7 eleven store. The hotel also is a walking distance to boat terminal going to Wat Arun temple and the reclining buddha. I love how they set up our... More

The people in the front desk is really nice. The location of the hotel is perfect just one block from Khaosan Rd on a nice place full of restaurants and bars. There is noise in the rooms so dont worry.

Everything was fine. Room was pretty when I walked in with the elephant towels. Just the elevator didn't work going down 1 time, that's why I give it 4 stars. Besides that the staff was very friendly.

A group of us (women and children) went to this restaurant on the Main Street one evening on or visit to the Khaosan Road area. The food ordered was not good - some dishes even inedible. On leaving the waiter added extra drinks to our bill which we did not have - everything was still on the table. The waiter... More

Stayed here purely to catch the Lomprayah bus which is right next door. Hotel was clean, and easy check in. As most reviews have mentioned. It is noisy, but it seems to stop around 1am. (But it is Khao San road area, so can't expect people to be too quiet) Beds were comfortable and clean. Security through the night. Will... More

Located next to the famous Khaosan Road, this hotel is surprisingly quiet (of course you can hear music outside but it didn't bother us too much) so you can wind down after a hard night partying. The staff is super friendly and helpful - they even let us check in early. The double rooms are really big and are also... More

The hotel is in a great location with shops, restaurants and attractions around the corner. The hotel is a bit noisy till late in the night because of all the bars. The beds are very good with supersoft sheets and a very clean room

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
