Look no further, Saphaipae Hostel has got everything you need for a perfect stay in Bangkok on a budget and more. Aside from being affordable, Saphaipae has so much to offer. Their beds are comfy and clean. Their bathrooms are spic and span. Oh and the breakfast is quite good too! It's a buffet! The choices vary slightly from day... More

We were 8 people so we had one whole room for us. Really spacious and very comfortable beds with private lockers and lamps. Showers are clean and fast warm water goes out. Staff was really nice and also was very well located. Very recommended.

We got the private room and it was great. Very much like a hotel: big, clean, with air conditioning and a big en suite bathroom. They even make the bed and change your towels daily! On the other hand, as a hostel it has a common area on the ground floor and a couple of terraces. Also breakfast has a... More

Booked a Deluxe Private room. Very nice. Wooden floors. Spacious bathroom. Beautiful decor, Great location, Good breakfast. Lobby is beautiful and informative. Hotel was gracious enough for me to cancel one night out of two and not charge cancellation. Cannot comment on prices though since didn't compare around but seem reasonable.

Arrived at around 9pm after a long flight and taking a taxi from the airport took about 45 minutes which was simply arranged outside the airport for 500 baht. Receptionists were cool and helpful throughout our 2 night stay (which is a perfect amount of time for touring Bangkok). We had a private double room which was really big and... More

I arrived before the 2pm check in and luckily my room was ready for me at 10am! I stayed in a female only 6 bed dorm and turned out to only have one roommate:) The bathroom/showers are great. Restaurant food is good - had pad Thai with prawns for 90 baht. Minor issue is little tears in bed sheets but... More

Very friendly staff that ensure you have a nice stay. Good location close to the temples and relatively close to the night market. I stayed in the private room which had good facilities. The downside is that could be a bit noisy but nothing bad since the windows are not double glazed. Highly recommended!

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
