Ordinary hotel with not so-great breakfast. But it is still good value, given the price that I have paid. The location is convenient by the way. Just a couple of minutes away from the train station. And a station away from the popular Ratchada train market.

I stayed there for 3 nights. Paid 3900THB. Initially I was browsing several hotels in Bangkok it was then My Hotel CMYK@Ratchada appeared. It seems a decent hotel to me but I never expect hotel situated in the dark alley, bad experience reaching to the hotel by metro. I was lost by the residential estate. Everything was amicable upon check in, until when I saw the room was unlike the picture that advertised in Booking.com. without any qualm after I had complaints to the receptionist they allocate me to the exact room. On the ground floor beside the restaurant there is a massage parlour. I had a very nice massage as the “masseuse” technique was marvellous. Within walking distance to Huay Kwang MRT. Hotel bellmen were very friendly he helped me with my baggages upon my departure. Thank you.

I had a very bitter experience at this hotel and would not at all recommend anybody to book a stay here. We reached at 1.45pm, but they insisted that check in would only be at 2pm. We were happy to wait, but at 2pm we checked in and paid the deposit of 1000baht/room (we booked two executive rooms) only to be informed afterwards that the previous guest had checked out late and Housekeeping was still cleaning one of the rooms. Staff was unapologetic and not helpful at all, insisting that they could not offer us another room. Their only solution was for us to all go into the room that was ready and they would give us a call once the other room has been cleaned. We assumed it would take another couple of minutes but we ended up waiting for an hour for the other room to be ready. We felt that this was very poorly managed, as they should have ensured that guests checked out on time, especially if their rooms were fully booked. The room itself not similar to the pictures provided at booking sites and looked very old and worn, which contributed to our disappointment even more. The hotel is not very close by to landmarks like Platinum, Siam, etc. It is very inconvenient as we had to change the train lines and it took around 20-30 minutes commute to reach those areas. During check out, we faced another terrible experience and service, where they tried to charge us for “damaging” the toilet mat, claiming that it was dirty and unable to be cleaned. When we were adamant that we would not pay for it as toilet mats are meant to get dirty (due to being on the floor and stepped on), the staff unprofessionally packed the mat into a plastic bag and brought it to the reception counter. I have stayed in plenty of hotels around the world, but not once have I encountered such poor manners and etiquette. We pointed out how their charge against us was weak and unjust, before they finally gave in and returned us our deposit. During this chaos at the checkout, we witnessed another guest also facing issues with the hotel. They spoke in Mandarin to the staff, which I do not understand, but they clearly seemed upset about the booking. Needless to say, we were not the only ones who encountered a bad experience with this hotel. I will not be returning to this hotel and I believe that there are a plethora of better hotels around Bangkok.

I would say the price for what we get is reasonable, staffs helpful as we had a bellboy who helped carry our luggage to the room , room looks new, toilet very clean, no foul smell, cleanliness maintained throughout the place, buffet is clean, WiFi is good. The only reason why I didn’t give 5/5 is because the shower water is really small, maybe a change of shower head or water pressure would help, and the bed was quite springy and jumpy. Overall I’m still a satisfied customer. Thanks
