Great experience. Staff was helpful, picked us up from airport at 1am. Very nice amenities. Breakfast was wonderful - best we’ve had in Thailand. They had fresh coconuts which id suggest drinking as many as you can especially because they are not free anywhere else.
We celebrated our anniversary and was pleasantly surprised by the effort from the hotel. Special thanks to Aoy and Gift for making our stay a memorable one. The importance of a friendly reception cannot be emphasised. We also love Hansar’s breakfast selections as most of the items were specifically made upon ordering. Meaning it’s freshly made and hot. Great rooms, very helpful staff and an excellent location, stayed two nights in and edge suite, breakfast is adequate and they had a promo two for one at the time. Some issues relating to the room, the WiFi isn’t sufficient for a business travelled. The staff informed me it’s a shared WiFi system. I think this is an issue that should be solved. Furthermore the AC in the bedroom is directly blowing on the bed which isn’t preferable. So switched it off during the night. Charging a guest for an ice bucket with the rates I was paying as well is quite unheard off. However it was a great experience and stay. And hope these issues will be resolved in the future.
Old carpet, old towels, uncomfortable bed. Unhappy with our stay due to the above mentioned. No staff around the pool or gym area. Wifi very weak around hotel and are not working in room 1212. Some Staff are not understand english.
some pices furnature coming old,aminyties not complete(no razor) BUT regatding the low price charge due COVID ,this is not complain,just remark. The breakfast menu is always the same options.After 3 mornings it could be boring.... The personel is fantastic and a special mention to the pool man manager!
I've been fond of Hansar for many years. Sadly Hansar Bangkok doesn't live up to the 5* reputation Hansar has earned, which genuinely disappointed me as I was quite excited about my stay there. After a 16hr journey, we were kept waiting almost an hour for the covid-safe taxi we booked to show up. The hotel room WiFi frequently drops...a known issue according to the management that they can't easily fix. Annoyingly the hotel seems to be in a poor location for data signal. Door lock didn't work and needed fixing by an engineer to open when the key card was swiped. The safe had an error appear that required someone to reset it so I could get my belongings out. The room AC only had one temperature, freezing. The room we stayed in a week later on our return to BKK the control didn't work properly either and the face plate fell off. The rooms themselves you can see are tired, dated and in need of renovation...carpet, tiles, furniture, mattress, etc The only thing that saves Hansar from a one-star rating is that the staff (management, front desk, restaurant, housekeeping), are fantastic and make up massively for the shortcomings of what they have to work with. They are super helpful, accommodating, and go out of their way to ensure their guests have the best stay possible. I hope the company will invest in bringing the hotel in line once again with its 5* reputation.…
Hotel is in a great little pocket of Siam, quiet but close to the action, train very close walk. Staff were very helpful, but unfortunately the rooms were dated and could clearly see the aging in the bathrooms and furniture. Breakfast was small but decent.
I booked and stayed under test & go package and chose for full board option. It's really value for money. All food tasted great. Big thanks to Khun Jay for the very warm welcome and took care of me and my friend very well. Also, thanks to Nong Oil for your fantastic extra mile service.
Our family have always chosen Hansar when visiting Bangkok. And we have never disappointed. If there is small mistakes or difficulties they always solved it fast with hospitality service mind. Breakfast This time we have 3 nights included breakfasts. They have shifted the location of breakfast from Eve Restaurant to Elefin Cafe(indoor), probably because the hotel is not full packed as It’s pandemic. The breakfast is A la carte buffet. Price/person 550฿ There were 2-3 waiter and waitresses during the service and they were really nice and kind. They remembered our menu as well Very detail oriented! Foods were nice but a little bit delayed when talking about only 1-2 tables only in the restaurant. Room We have 1 luxury suit with the racecourse view and 1 room urban suite. We requested 2 rooms to be at the same floor and they managed to do so. Upon arrival the room was nice and clean, they also cleaned it nicely everyday. Check-in The checkin time is 14:00. I came early and the room was available so I got to my room faster! The front office staff was very nice, he informed me about my delivered parcels and arranged them in my room. Thank you so much! He was very polite and quick with all answers as well. Porter All porters were really helpful, polite and given a very good service. Since I have more and more coming of parcels, they kept them for me and kindly brought some parcels up to the room. Thank you so much once again :) Lunch & Dinner Both services have the same menu but I’m not sure they have some special menu on some specific day. Foods were ‘OK’ I recommended Thai Food. We ordered Chicken with Rice(Khao mun gai) and it was amazing. We also had Sweet & Sour Fish with rice, Pesto Penne, Spicy spaghetti with sausage(I forgot the name) and Panini. Pesto was too oily and too much of garlic. Staff again, the lady was helpful when I asked details about their rice, the rice was different from other restaurants and I recommended you to TRY! Chef gave me the name and the package to see so I could get it for myself. Really appreciated 😇 Fitness & Pool Open from 7:00-21:00hrs I did not use the pool, yet the areas was quite, nice and clean. Fitness is fully equipped with sanitizer sprays and towels. Overall satisfied and will be back again.…
Hansar Bangkok hotel is one of a kind. We immediately feel at home with all the nice hospitality from the front desk, all the comfort in the spacious room, and all the good arrays of delicious foods. Even during the pandemic, they still offer wonderful services. Thanks to all the staffs who take great care of us. Thumbs Up!
