A minimal service hotel with quite large rooms that are clean, comfortable and reasonably well maintained. The bathrooms are also quite spacious with adequate (but variable) hot water supply The hand basin in room 503 had a serious draining issue but was quickly repaired when mentioned to the staff . There is no cable TV services, just basic Thai TV...

Upon arrival I was assigned room in the next door building as hotel was overbooked. Receptionist could speak english so they arrange to speak with their manager over the phone. The room was old and in desperate need of update. Bed was very uncomfortable and bathroom "unfriendly" to use...On second day I was moved back to Baan Silom Soi 3....

Great value central hotel. It's just down a side street but it's great as you get away from the traffic noise, yet it's only a 5 minute walk to Patpong market etc. I stayed here 2 years ago and didn't hesitate staying again.

This small hotel is conveniently located in the Silom district of Bangkok, within easy walking distance of a multitude of restaurants, shops, banks, as well as two BTS Skytrain stations. The kind and thoughtful management and staff, along with perks such as two free bottles of drinking water per day and a reasonably priced same-day laundry service, make this place...

Stayed 2 nights on my way to Australia, great little hotel, very clean and quiet just off the main road. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Fridge in the rooms bottled water in fridge is free, soft drinks are to be paid for. Will certainly stay here again. Perfect for getting around Bangkok.

We booked 3 rooms in the Baan Silom Soi 3 in November for a family group as a base to visit Bangkok before going further North to explore Thailand further. We had touched down in the early morning and got to the hotel at about 9am. I had emailed ahead asking if there was any chance for an early check...

My wife and I have stayed here numerous times over the last couple of years and it is a nice but basic hotel, staff are really friendly and the location is excellent for the BTS. Silom and Patpong market are extremely close and there is plenty of restaurants to eat at nearby.

Baan Silom is a nice quiet hotel in the heart of Silom road. It is off the main road down soi 3 but not very far. Everything you want is only 5 minutes walk away and it is close to the MRT to go outside the Silom area. I enjoyed my stay and will stay there again.

I had a very comfortable air conditioned room.....spacious, scrupulously clean, very friendly and helpful staff. A short walk to Patpong Market and Pintsman Bar ( a lovely place for a cold beer and a good meal).

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

“Got a room in first floor in the front of building. Besides Bangkok been a noisy city, we don´t have issues in room. But we believe that upper rooms are better. And the hotel have a elevator, so no problem.”
