We arrived at the hotel after flying for 24 hrs from Houston, at 13:30 pm. They helped us carry out luggage and took us to the room (101) immediately. The room was clean, bedding sheets soft, made of high quality cotton, beds comfortable. I slept well. Breakfast included a variety of options, like noodles or rice, fried eggs, fresh fruits,... Perfect location, wide choice of rooms - from bright 4-bed dorm rooms to very comfortable family accomodations. Spacious restaurant and copious breakfast included (fruit assortment, choice of Thai specialties + traditional western breakfast). Very friendly, helpful staff.

Booked a shared room with 4 bunks and had a lovely three days with two women I would have never met otherwise. The hotel is fabulously clean and comfortable and tucked back off the main road easy walk to many of the area temples as well as Khao San Road.

This hotel is a good choice within walking distance to the nearby temples, particularly for the price. The rooms are basic with a tile floor, small fridge, a/c and a safe. Make sure to bring a hotel card with the address from the front desk to show taxis. Kudos to the front desk who were extremely helpful.

A real hide away from the hecticness of Bangkok main tourist attractions. Yet in v close proximity. My compliments esp go to the conceirage/manager who oversaw my stay. Lovely relaxing place wonderful for myself as a solo female traveller. Beautiful.

The rooms are average, not very clean though, breakfast and stuff ok. Location is very good, walking distance to Grand palace. I think the value for money is quite good, as you mostly paying for location.

Ive seen previous reviews about Feung Nakorn and was curios to give it a try since the price is just appealing considering the location and it's amenities. I arrived around 2am, the staff was very attentive (i believe her name is Wen). I was hungry that time since i skip my dinner before that flight, i asked her if they... More

Our room on the third floor was nice and spacious and had a view to the little courtyard. There was no elevator but this was not a problem for us, including my three and one year old. There was a little pond/pool in the courtyard with lots of carp and other fish, which my children thoroughly enjoyed. There were also... More

Long travel to most tourist destinations. Eg. 3 hours, 2 1/2 hours. Not much to see within walking distance except palace. Very difficult to drag wheeled suitcases from the entrance to your room. Eg. Steps, rock paths.

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
