The hostel have a very nice atmosphere that suits well the experience on Thailand. It's not a party hostel although they have beer pong on Wednesdays. It's very well localized at the Khao San area. But there are some cheaper hostels in the region.

Friendly staff and guests, clean and comfortable and in a perfect location for Khao San Road. Me and a friend stayed in a female only dorm and on another occasion a mixed dorm. Would recommend both, lots of space and it's nice to have the air con in the evening.

This was our first stop off on our 6 month trip and it eased us in nicely. Not the most social of hostels we've been in but a very safe and secure hostel with big lockers and a nice layout to a 22 person dorm.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our trip in SE Asia. Good secure hostel. Small common room but easy to meet people. Staff are friendly enough but not as much compared to other hostels. Great location in the heart of Khao San.

We started our 10 day Thailand itinerary at Nappark Hostel. From BKK it is about a 45min - 1 hour taxi/uber ride to the hostel. I would recommend that you pick up a tourist SIM from true move telecom provider right after you exit customs and immigration. The reason why I say that is uber is very cheap. Better than...

I began my trip alone so wanted somewhere a bit social but still didn't want to compromise on cleanliness. I found the right place with Nap Park. They keep the place spotless and the common area is very comfy and great for socialising (relaxing times as well as party times). The beds have blinds you can pull down over each...

Most importantly this is a great social place for solo travellers. The layout and vibe encourages people to talk to each other. There is a good chance you'll gather or be gathered and will head out together. It's a pretty place inside as you can see form the pics, it's a popular well used hostel so don't expect it to...

The common area is nice to meet people, the beds are good and the bathroom is ok. Only disadvantage I had was sleeping with party-animals who went crazy in the middle of the night. Be aware that it lies just around the corner of Khao San Rd.

Met a ton of people in the hangout area. Clean, comfy hostel. One street over from khaosan so you can sleep but still party! Perfect for a couple of nights in Bangkok. 15 min walk from the grand palace.

Went there alone for a few nights. Common area is very social. Beds are very comfortable, A/C is very cold. WiFi was very fast. A little pricey compared to the usual hostels in Bangkok but is definitely worth the price. On my 3rd night, I found myself hanging out with 10 other people, went to Khao San to drink &...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
