Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Overall the decoration is quite clean and minimal so it makes the feeling of a large space in the room . The power plugs are well set so when we move around the room, it is convenient .
Staff are friendly and active in providing us the information.
The location is excellent, the convenient store is next to the lobby. Restaurants, shops and super rmarket are just 15 steps walking.

Stayed at Triple Y Hotel for 3 decent nights. The room was new and clean, the lightings were great; the master control switch was super convenient and of course the daybed was my new favourite spot during the day. I also liked that you have the lounging wears, the slippers, the shopping basket and the foldable shopping bag provided.
However, there was a bit of delay in issuing wifi password and logging to the wifi. But since I have my data plan, the waiting was not terrible.
This review would not be complete, If I did not mention that the hotel is right above Samyan Mitrtown, a brand new community mall with great restaurants and cafes (some open 24/7 including Starbucks). The mall also has a direct link to the metro (MRT Samyan) which made my commutes way smoother and without a rush.

Very new and very comfy bed, it’s clean and very comfortable. In a Very good location, train station is just through the basement link. The hotel is right above the mall filled with tons of restaurants and with some open 24hr including a 7Eleven. For free breakfast we need to go to the Coffee Club in the mall, not a problem at all and the breakfast is very good! Very happy here and will stay here in the future.

I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions on my vacation to Thailand.
To put it simply, this hotel had the best customer service and was all encompassing in terms of needs met. Breakfast was provided, their was a gym and their is a 5 level mall that has plenty of options for food.
I could not have been more comfortable in my two stays at the Triple Y Hotel. Also, both managers I worked with did everything they could to make my stay more enjoyable.
I would highly recommend.

Loved this hotel for its great ambiance and perfect location. The bedding was wonderfully apportioned, both comfortable and stylish.
Located with easy access to both the subway and elevated trains it is perfect for helping to provide easy access all over Bangkok.
The staff was also very helpful and friendly, which is a common trait in Thailand. Plenty of food options too.

....Very good location, the hotel locate in Samyanmittown shopping center so you can walk around, shopping, eat and drink there. Very recommend. Room is very nice and the hotel provide the pyjamas for us also.

Yes to a clean room, aesthetically pleasing, good AC, high pressure shower and linked mall with great eatery options. Bonus: a mobile phone with credit that you can bring out to use. Smart TV, room amenities were all good. Bfast option by means of coupon redeem at Tim Horton or Coffee club. Both decent.
Not so good if you prefer firm pillows, room service (as theres no hotel restaurant) or alcohol. Nextdoor is a university and Samyan is designated within school zone. Within 10min vicinity, no bars and no alcohol sold in their 7/11, supermarkets or restaurants. No pool and fitness centre req notifying reception for access.
Overall hotel and mall is boutique style. More laid back, not as hectic or crowded.

This is the worst hotel service experience ever. I checked in on July 10, 2567, and was assigned a room on the 10th floor. Upon check-in, the receptionist did not inform me that there was no running water. I found out from a security guard near the elevator that there was no water on the 10th floor and it would be available again at 8 PM. I had to use the lobby restroom meanwhile. I went outside and returned around 10 PM, only to find that the elevator was out of service. I had to inquire at the reception, where they directed me to use a backup elevator at the back and mentioned there might be a water leak on the 10th floor, uncertain if it had reached the rooms.
When I finally entered my room, I discovered it was flooded. However, the hotel did not bother to call and inform me about the water leak in the room. If I had left valuables or electronic equipment on the floor, they would likely have been ruined. I don't understand why they didn't call to notify guests to move their belongings earlier.
Afterward, I requested to move to another room of the same type, but all rooms were fully booked. They only had a smaller room available at a cheaper rate. Therefore, I had to check out in the middle of the night around 11 PM and move to another hotel. It was a very frustrating waste of time.

We stayed over New Year. Very nice hotel, but the whole experience was seriously marred by lying [sic] reception staff which resulted in payment being taken twice. No amount of talking with the manager could get our money back until, in his words, the ‘many parties’ to the payment made it possible to refund, but only after one to two months had elapsed. Why not refund immediately? We would stay again on a future occasion, but the u compromising attitude of the manager is making us think twice!

For your case, you booked a room via Booking.com and paid by AMEX credit card upon reservation process. Once you came to the hotel for check in process. You changed your mind to cancel the payment by AMEX card because of the high fee and paid by VISA credit card instead. The staff did immediately as you wanted and informed you that it took time for refund process. Then on the next day you met our Front Office Manager. You changed your mind again to charge on AMEX card and cancelled your payment through VISA credit card. He did inform you again about the refund time and he issued the internal memo right away. It is possible to refund but the hotel and the Thai bank actually has the internal refund management. We sincerely apologize for your inconvenience that you confronted. Yours truly, Hotel Manager

1) The breakfast time is available at 6:30a.m.–10:00a.m. at The Coffee Club on G floor of Samyan Mitrtown.
2) After 10:00p.m. all the customers have to go out of the hotel and access to the mall (24hrs. zone to access the MRT. Please be aware the operation time of the MRT will be closed at 11:30p.m.
