Situated on a very busy street. When we check in place look deserted. Looks like we were the only guest there. Room is big but everything else in the room is old and run down. Towels were not clean. We had to ask for new towels. Bedsheets were torn. When we came back late at night, we found that lights... More

Great Hotel, big Bedrooms, good breakfast, very well situated, good price, and the best of all, it's has the Holiday Inn hotel just in front, so it's easy telling the taxi drivers; take me to the Holiday Inn Hotel, and all the taxis, tuk tuk etc know that hotel and take you straight away, if you tell them another name,... The room was perfect - large, clean and luxurious for the price! The staff at the desk were always friendly and helpful and the location was great. We are backpackers and the hostels down the road worked out more expensive for us, so the hotel is great value for the area.

I stayed 2 nights in August. There were no water in the bathroom, and wifi can never open any webpage although it is 'free'. Hotel staff dress casually nothing like a proper hotel. I do recommend to pay 10 dollars more to stay in better hotel for better service and environment. This place is simply a over priced family business.

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
