This hotel is suitable to travel alone. It is locate close to BTS. The room is very convenience , room design is good. Bed are cleaned. All area can take a picture with facility I like it. Bytheway, all their staff is very kind.
Fair location being between the Asok and Phrom Phong skytrain stations each with lots of shopping and food. The check-in/lobby is on the 8th floor but the concierge is at the entrance and will show you where to go. The room was comfortable but I must say, the floor plan has very poor utilization of space.
5 mins walk to Terminal 21. Slept for four nights in a premier room at 14/F. You need to interchange another lift to get to the room. The room is clean and quiet at night. The bed is extremely large which may allow 4 adults to sleep together. The staffs are always willing to help with everything. The breakfast was included but don't expect too much. However, it was quite surprising as fresh fruit juice is available by yourself. The only thing to complain about is the floor inside the bathroom could not allow the water to go quickly. by the way, it is good to travel in Feb, the weather is very nice.
Good points We had a great view from room 1602 with a corner aspect. The room was massive as was the bed. There was a, small kitchenette area with microwave but no kettle. Breakfast was varied and good. Bad points The tea and coffee was in the room but no kettle. Provided with a coffee maker with one yes only one dolce gusto coffee pod per day. If you want more you have to pay for them. The bed sheets where not changed over out three days stay poor for a 5 star hotel. The carpet was dirty and ready Don't forget to ask the maid to strip search your room on checkout. Looking for missing towels, bathrobes, soiled bed sheets and checking the minibar all whilst you wait to check out very strange set up. Staff not very helpful only the conciage desk that want to sell your tours and taxi. My advice use the BTS and MRT with the airport city link all very easy to use and air conditioned. Avoid China town unless you like it jam packed with people, traffic and market stalls all competing for the same square inch of space hot stuffy and overpriced. Do the temples and boat hop not for the faint hearted the river is as congested as the roads. Eat some street food and eat at pie21 at terminal 21 very cheep and goog verity. Bankock is a mad city but this hotel was a good choice and location but not 5 star as its rooms are dated. …
This hotel ruined my last night in Bangkok, The room we got was DIRTY. The bathroom was unusable due to flooding issues when showering or bathing. The sink would not drain correctly leading to a flooded sink. The bed itself was dirty, stained on the bedsheet and blanket. Check-in / out staff were terrible, no help at all. On many occasions, they would be seen to be using their mobile phones rather than assisting customers. This is not what you expect from a 5* hotel. The staff did not even attempt to inform us of what facilities were within the hotel nor did they even tell us about where the breakfast cafe is since this was included in our price. The breakfast is not worth paying extra for, it is a load of cheap goods put onto the table to make it look like there is a large selection available. Food in the street market is much better than the food offered here. The furniture in our room was all tatty and old. This type of finish would not achieve a 5* star rating as I have been to many other 3* hotels with better fixture and fittings compared to this place. There is a ridiculous price list considering this is a 5* hotel. Even the Lipton tea bag packaging looked like it was soaked in water and still replaced back into the tea draw for the next guest to use. The air conditioning unit sounded like it was going to explode, the settings were difficult to use and the controller itself was very old and dated, plus it was dirty. I really do find it hard to find one good thing about the room, the only positive thing is the view was good since we were so high up. Other than that... There is no reason to book a stay in this hotel unless you want a hotel that will ruin your holiday. We did not inform the management as we checked in really late and we had an early morning flight. This room should have been checked before allowing guest to stay in there.…
