Very big old building but nicely maintained located next to river which takes to the main shopping areas so moving around without hassle of traffic is a plus. Be warmed you are asked for 1000 THB on check in which is not mentioned at time of booking oh and they do not provide irons in room if you can believe that !!! Breakfast is average could be better. Overall nice place good service sure if renovated would back to a palace.

Very near to Bobae Tower with just a few minutes walk down to the market. Also close distance to many temples and local market - Khaosan road. Friendly staffs. Nice and big room. The breakfast is good.

- This is a huge old building located a little far from the city center. - Serve's a tasty breakfast with a great spread. - Not a good choice for Asians. - Recommend only if you choose to spend the night.

This hotel probably was a five-star hotel when it was first built. It is very dated, the carpets in the hallway smell, the carpets in the room smell, Don’t be taken in by the lobbies. We had a poor experience with customer service. My friend had her booking come through and she booked for two adults one child and the booking said that breakfast is free. When we arrived at the hotel they said no you booked for two adults no child and breakfast will have to be paid for. It’s a simple fix for 10-year-old child to give the client the breakfast and I know that’s what is done and many other places but these people do not think outside the box and they smile sweetly and nod their heads and they don’t fix the problem. While we were trying to get our problem fixed I was listening to another lady who is having Similar issues with another staff member who just couldn’t think outside the box to provide decent customer service. I’m not sure if it’s because these people aren’t empowered to have good cost customer service and problem solve or they’re afraid to or what the deal is. Beyond that the hotel is less than 3 km away from the major sites however keep in mind that with traffic you’re going to pay depending on the time of day between 100 and 200 Thai baht for a tuk tuk or a cab end it can take about a half an hour to get around town. It’s about the same to go in the other direction towards the shopping. Always take a metered taxi to the airport it’s about 350 including the 60 baht toll. On the plus side there is a fresh fruit market across the street there isn’t a lot of street food during the week but on the weekends and Fridays there appears to be a lot of it you just have to ask which way to go. As far as anything being within walking distance there doesn’t appear to be a lot of decent restaurants and in fact if you use TripAdvisor or lonely planet or other guidebooks they seem to avoid the area entirely for tourists probably because of the lack of walk ability

It is supposed to be a "Suite Residence" . Yes, there was corner space with sink but NOT a kitchenette!! No utensils, stove or even a microwave oven ?? so, how is it it is called a suite residence?? Otherwise, hotel facilities are great.. several pools, spa, restaurant. Location wise, we have been mentally prepared for it to be in that "market" environment (i.e. Bobae Market). The water buses jetty being nearby provides a quick and unjammed transportation to the city centre (Siam Aragon, Central World MBK of the likes)
