This is my first time staying at Mini R Ratchada Hotel. I stay a total of 3 nights and had great rest. The lobby and front desk area has more than enough space to handle 10 pax at one time. There are ample sofa space for about 10 pqx and the outside has 6 seats for additional space. The restaurant next to the lobby belongs to the hotel as well. There are some nice display of Thai Amulets and 2 statues of Monkey God. There are two fish tanks with different breeds of turtles too. The restaurant serves a variety of food. It is surprising to see a small hotel with a big restaurant which provides daily breakfast and food for room services. There are also many wine selection here. The room that I stayed in is with modern chic design. Thought it might not be luxurious as compared to some 4 star hotels but the cupboard has lot of space to hang your clothings. There is a large area for putting 1 big and 1 small luggage (both opened up) which helps a lot in packing and unpacking. The bed is also very comfortable and the table area is big too. The minibar also has beverages at certain pricing which is rather surprising to have for a 3 star hotel. The bathroom is big and has a small window. It is good for me as I like to do my own laundry during travelling. The hotel also provides laundry services at an affordable cost. This hotel is located within walking distance from BTS and the blue line (10 mins). There is a 7-11 store across the road and easily accessible by an overhead bridge. There is a big seafood restaurant above this 7-11 store as well. It takes you about 5 mins to reach The Street shopping mall where there are many restaurants and shops including a Starbucks , Burger King and KFC outlets. There is a supermarket in this mall and Big C Extra supermarket is just next to The Street. The big question now is will I stay here again and my answer is Yes without hesitation. The hotel may look small from outside but they have the great staff and the convenience of the amenities around here makes up for everything. There are room services and beverages which most 3 star hotel does not have. I would consider this a 3.5 star hotel. …
First off, the front desk personnel were nice. The room was very spacious, clean and also the bathroom is so clean. They also offer breakfast during our 4 days and 3 nights stay. The location is just near the malls and MTR subway stations which was convenient for us.
Once walked into the room, smelled a weird smell which make me not so comfortable on it. However, hotel is clean but looks old. Room is big , location is good but it definitely need some upgrade. Will not come back since we can get others better hotel with the same price paid.
We stayed for 2 nights in a mini Suite which was well furnished and spotlessly clean, big bathroom, in room safe and plenty of space for hanging clothes. Good breakfast served next door and the evening meals very very good. I have an allergy and the kitchen was most helpful and made dishes suitable for me. Plenty of shopping in the area and within easy reach of stations, getting a taxi is not a problem as the hotel is on a main road.Staff are very friendly and helpful and provided us with a map of the area. A very good find and we will stay here again when in Bangkok.
Clean, comfortable bed, good wifi, convenient to restaurants and mall, and English speaking front desk. Breakfast was not high end but graciously served. If taking a taxi from airport, bring a print out of address and phone number in case driver needs to call for directions.
Lication is good. About 5 min walk from Huai Kwang BTS station. Hotel offers also breakfast. Good budget hotel. Clean room, have everything for making coffee in room. Many shops and markets nearby, also reastaurants. Noisy inthe early morning if you windows to the main street.
First time staying in this hotel and the price and location is good. Easy access to Huay Kwang BTS station and lots of good food can be found at the Huay Kwang Market. The God Ganesha is just around the corner for devotees to make offerings and prayers. Big C, The Street is within walking distance from this hotel. Room is spacious with simple amenities. Wifi is good. Breakfast is very simple with American Breakfast with a few choices and Continental Breakfast. Coffee,Tea and Milo is self-service at the table. All in all, the breakfast Menu has only 8 choices to choose from but is fresh from the kitchen. The Lobby is small but cozy. Hotel is situated on the main road. Esplanade Mall is two stations away from Huay Kwang station whereby you can spend your afternoon at the 3D Paradise and when in the evenings from 6pm to Midnight, Train Night Market ( Talad Rod Fai ) is just behind Esplanade Mall.…
I wanted a place that is central inexpensive and functional & this place is great. £25+ a night with a good location, decent Wi-Fi,clean & actually a big room.Rooms at the front of the building are noisy due to single glazing. Breakfast is minimal choice of 6 or so. Overall great value for money.
Mini R is a small hotel next door to the Bangkok International Dental Centre. The free breakfast menu is limited but sufficient. Initially we were in room 305 which is a large, quiet room at the rear of the building. But it only has one small window. We chose to move room 601 located at the front of the hotel, it has more windows and is brighter ... just has more traffic noise. We used ear plugs at night. Room 601 (exec king) has a small kitchen sink, along with the fridge, cups, kettle, coffee and tea. Room 601 adjoins another room which would be good for families. Nearby is 'Street' and 'Big C' shopping malls which have supermarkets and numerous restaurants. Taxi to the city centre / river cost about AU$5.
ROOM: 3⭐️ Clean, bright rooms. Good working A/C. FOOD: 3⭐️ We had free breakfast (set menu). They have 8 diff set menus, mostly continental. STAFF: 5⭐️ Very friendly, always smiling, ready to help This hotel is very accessible to 2 train/MRT stations, Thailand Cultural Center and Huai Kwang, which will connect you to the airport via Petchaburi station, around 60 baht, ( just be ready for a bit of a long walk). For a 3 star hotel, I’d say it is a good price and worth it.
