Outside, building decorations are little gloomy but is a nice place: 10 minutes on walk from Royal Palace, between Bangkok center and night life district. not expensive but elegant. Plenty breakfast for 200 bath. Suggest to everyone.

Room was spacious and clean with big bed and large window with black out curtains to allow us to sleep after a long flight. It is located next to every amenity I can think of (shopping, markets, food, massage). It was within walking distance of Chinatown and many Wots. Also just a cheap taxi ride from many tourist attractions, Koasan...

As a 4 star hotel, it is very simple. Internet doesn't work propperly. We found some bugs in the bed. The bed lights switch doesn't exist. The TV doesn' t work, any channel can't be seen. There is nothing inside the wardrobe where to leave your clothes, only two bars to hang up something. The pictures on the website are...

We just got a standard double room, which was nice and clean with all the amenities provided. It would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities though. The room was cleaned and towels replaced everyday. We were on the 6th floor, not much of a view from our room but we were out most of the time anyway.

I didn't give a 1 star because of the location. It's well located. But the service it's very bad. In the reception was very difficult to recieve any kind of information. The wi-fi worked for some hours, always going down

Myself and my friend were traveling in Thailand and I made the bad decision to listen to a friend and not book a hotel in advance in Bangkok. After being messed about approaching a few hotels I learned they often charge whatever they want if you book the hotel there and then and ask them a price, it's best to...

This is our fourth visit to the Miramar Hotel in Bangkok. This was better than last time. Our room was on the 5th floor, (534) the room was located at the back of the hotel, over looking the coach /car park. The one downside was that the coaches would start up their engines at 6,45 with people shouting getting people to...

We arrived and hotel is full so, they upgraded us to the largest one which is very nice with spacious bedroom and bed size. But, staff really not helpful. Can't connect to wifi, they come to the room and not solved at all. Really stress, we need to contact our family but no family at hotel? How come?! So far,...

we visited the hotel at the end of our thai trip... everything was catastrophic... decoration, amenities, parsimony in distribution of all the consumables, room comfort, hopeless internet, insane architecture with never ending corridors, noisy clients... thank god the staff was quite nice and helpful!

Staying in Chinatown / Yaowarat

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown / Yaowarat
Better known as 'Yaowarat' among locals, Chinatown is Bangkok's bustling district that never sleeps. During the day, the main street and its small alleyways are filled with a vibrant mix of colours, scents and flavours coming from the roadside restaurants and all-day markets. The real action, however, happens after sunset. Surrounded by neon lights, Thais and tourists alike flock here around dinnertime to feast on some of the best street food in town. Escape the chaos by venturing a little further from the main road and discover hidden shrines, friendly locals and daily life in its purest form.
