My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights (which is plenty long enough to stay in Bangkok, particularly on this road). There were quite a few downsides of which we found at this hotel. The rooms weren't as big as what we thought they were going to be, the shower room was separated by windows which you could see...

Stay away from this hotel!! We arrived at 12 a.m. Could not check in. Waiting on the hall forever. We reserved a superior room, more expensive, to have more confort. It was just in front of a crazy loud bar and the room was shacking. I asked for change room as it was informed that hotel was fully booked. First...

Pros: - Perfect location on Khao San road - not too noisy if you manage to get a room not facing the street - Helpful reception staff and tourism agency within the complex - Great buffet breakfast - including bread/toast, croissants, eggs (scrambled and fried), sausages, wedges, cereal, yoghurt, pad thai, fried rice, coffee/tea, juices, watermelon/pineapple and more Cons: -...

Only stayed here over night between flight connections. But it's right on Khaosan Road if that's what you're after, with large comfy rooms. Breakfast was great. Pool and bar on the roof looked nice. No problems with staying here again if I had to! We had a room towards the back of the hotel too, so it was nice and...

Pretty good for those who carry the backpack like I do! Near the center, many attractions around, best price for food, cheap beers, many studs around. What are you waiting for?! Let's get it started here, lol. Well, for our fellows who are looking for the best with the lowest. Room is just no bed with something like Japanese-style futon,...

My friend and I stayed here for two nights! Rooms were clean and spacious! Quite loud but that's to be expected being located right at the start of Koh San road! It is the ideal location for those who want to go out and enjoy the nightlife which is exactly why we booked here! Pool area looked really nice, Breakfast...

We have stayed in Dang Derm for two nights and for the price it was just okay, but nothing more. The location is perfect at Khaosan Road near to tourist attractions. This means that neighborhood is always crowded and noisy because of thousands of tourists and maybe more vendors. Important things to see like Grand Palace or Wat Pho is...

Dang Derm was a lovely location for a few days in Bangkok. We arrived late and they put us in their secondary hotel directly across the street. It was very similar to the photos and descriptions advertised. The breakfast included was delicious and plentiful. It was a little loud at night, as we could hear an amplified speaker outside our...

This hotel right in the middle of khaosan road, center of night party in bangkok. A lot of taxi and tuktuk parking here to get you around. The room smal but quiet and cozy. I love the interior hotel very simple with asia wood style One that i really don't fit is because the reception service isn't nice enough. they...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
