A great apartment sized hotel room, with all the comforts of home, awaited us at the Column after a long haul flight. It made arriving in a new country - and Bangkok can be overwhelming - very easy for us. We had arranged with the hotel to be picked up at the airport, with no hitches, and were in our...

We were very luck that when we arrived the hotel staff upgraded us to a large apartment style room. The space was massive for downtown Bangkok. The location was very easy to access and allowed for a quick walk to Terminal 21 for food and shopping. There is also a 24 grocery store right beside the hotel. The gym facilities...

One of the best hotel for business traveler. A home away from home. Hotel staff is professional and very helpfull(staff helped unlocking room safe quickly and with less fuzz). Relatively close to malls, rails, convenience stores, restos, and a park(great for running).

I stayed 4 weeks at this place (room 4003) and as it was pre-paid and non-refundable package deal I was unfortunately stuck there. Although location is very good and the view from the room is nice on high floor, I’m afraid that’s where it all ended. The place is aging rapidly and unfortunately not well managed, it’s falling apart and...

I was recommended this hotel as it was close to my office. It's an old hotel. But rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable and breakfast is ok. Coffee is good which is important in the morning. If you need a place to rest after a long day at work you can do no better than this place. Location so...

This room was very spacious with spectacular views of Bangkok and it had a fantastic spar which was a nice surprise. The hotel had all the necessary facilities, it's close to a monorail stop and restaurants. The reception staff weren't that attentive but friendly enough. Overall, good value for money!

We booked this hotel for 4 nights; however checked out in 2 nights. The hotel has big rooms; Our One Bedroom Suite was about 90 sq meter on the 32nd Floor, having great view of Bangkok skyline. Properly equipped Kitchen with utensils. Second Toilet was in the lounge area; with washing machine and dryer. Furniture was a bit tired and...

Stayed at the hotel with a group of friends. Stayed in a two bedroom suite on the 38th floor with a decent view of the city scape. Rooms fully equipped with wifi, kitchen, washing machine, and all needed amenities. Although the second bedroom didn't have an attached bath. Didn't get to try any of the amenities like the pool, fitness...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
