My wife and I booked 5 nights at the Sofitel Sukhumvit for the final leg of a 7 week trip to Southeast Asia. We had just been in Bali for 4 weeks and arrived as the level of concern regarding COVID-19 was escalating worldwide. We were informed just before our arrival to the Sofitel that our airline had rebooked us on a flight to Vancouver, BC one day earlier than we had planned. As it turned out, we ended up rebooking on an even earlier flight to North America in order to avoid any travel restrictions. Our stay at the Sofitel was shortened from 5 nights to 2 nights. The management at the Sofitel were completely understanding regarding our situation and refunded the cost of the unused nights without question.

Aside from the kindness extended to us regarding our shortened stay, we were impressed that the management and staff at the Sofitel were proactive in screening all individuals attempting to enter the hotel, and also provided hand sanitizer in various locations for convenience.

We stayed in a King room and found it spacious and extremely comfortable with nice city views. The bed was super comfortable, the bath and showers lovely and we appreciated the bluetooth speaker system. We had breakfasts and lunch in the Viola restaurant and found the food most excellent. The restaurant staff were attentive and engaging during our meals. When we had lunch, the wait staff and manager proactively confirmed that the question that I asked regarding my dining selection was correct. We also had room service for one dinner and found the meal to be excellent.

We are so grateful to the management and staff at the Sofitel Sukhumvit. We were so sorry to leave earlier than planned, but we will stay again at the Sofitel when we next return to Bangkok!

The room was exceptionally spacious, and the interior was well-furnished and stylish. For example, the complimentary water came in glass bottles instead of PET bottles.

The breakfast had a wide selection and could sufficiently cater to a vegan diet.

Their whole team, from reception, housekeeping to restaurant staff, were very attentive, pleasant and welcoming.

Reception staff Ms. Ghing was very helpful during check-in, and even showed me to the lift. Their housekeeping staff were very jovial. And I would like to specially compliment Ms. Bambi, who took notice when I was standing at the bread counter, and came forward to asked if I needed help. When I asked which of the breads contain egg and dairy, she quickly checked with the kitchen staff and recommended me the suitable food items. She took note that I was on a vegan diet and on subsequent days, offered to get the kitchen staff to prepare any special request meals I might have, although their breakfast buffet spread was more than sufficient to cater to a vegan diet. Nevertheless, I was very touched by her attentiveness and thoughtfulness.

Together with the service team at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit, they display excellent hospitality and their work and dedication is really commendable. The stay with Sofitel Bangkok Sukumvit was a very pleasant one and I strongly recommend this hotel for visitors to Bangkok.

This is my second time to stay at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit.
As expected, everything is to hand once you arrive. The reception staff are amazing and very welcoming. This is a cross between traditional Thai hospitality and well-trained staff who are happy in their working environment.
The managerial infrastructure appears to be doing very well.

As someone who travels a lot, I need a no-fuss but quality place to stay. The Sofitel exceeds these requirements every time.
The restaurant Voila! is wonderful if you want a fantastic meal that again, is presented with understated excellence which is essentially what seasoned travelers are looking for in a hotel.

The swimming pool is amazing and so is the spa which uses L'Occitane products, and when you are done for the day, there is a rooftop bar which gives stunning views over Bangkok.

My thanks goes out to Pana who is the Guest Experience Manager: the reason for my review title of 'consistently outstanding'. She provides a highly balanced service to guests that comes across as competent, sincere and not overbearing, and that is very much appreciated.

The rooms in the hotel are fantastic, with everything you could require, especially in the bathroom. Sometimes you're so tired that you just want to go from the jet to the shower, and to have great amenities where you can just key-in, drop bags and get cleaned up, is a very welcome asset.
Thank you again to everyone at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit.

I honestly haven't had the best experience in the last few accor hotels i stayed in and was a little weary about how my experience was gonna be. But i must admit that this is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in over the last 10 years that i have been traveling to BKK. Service quality was exemplary right from the time we arrived to the the quality of room service to the check out experience. A special mention to Nana at the front desk who helped get our room organised on priority when we told her about how tired we were coz of the long flight and also we wanted to rest it out since we were in town for just a couple of nights to celebrate our anniversary.

The hotel is located conveniently on the main road and is just walking distance from both Nana and Asok BTS stations. Shopping Mall Terminal 21 is too far either and Soi 11 the party hub is just 7-10 mins away on foot.

Travelling on business and paying for a 5* there are some basics that are exoected... The hotel is smart, clean and stylish unfortunately they don't get everything right which for my stay caused significant issues...
Room lighting so dim that one cannot read eg before sleeping except directly under the desk lamp. WiFi not available until 3hrs *after* checkin and disabled 45mins before checkout (exactly when one might want to checkin for a flight or order a grab taxi). Most significantly sometime hotels get busy and guests have to queue for breakfast... This happened to me on a working day which is inconvenient but the attitude of the staff who would not allow me to enter the dining area to see if a colleague was already there was positively hostile and I was further disappointed when after 15mins waiting I was allowed entry only to find the dining area was about 65% full! An unnecessary delay which was very badly handled and messed up my morning. As above these things happen but in this case it was wholly artificial & makes me wonder what possible purpose was served.
It's somewhere I'd consider returning to for a holiday but issues above make it far from 1st choice for future business trips.

We spend with my wife a weekend staycation at Sofitel Sukhumvit. We opted for the suite room option with access to the club and the very nice massage offers and we enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff is very eager to please and is taking all steps to serve you effectively. The ambience is very welcoming and the decoration of our room was very cosy and gave a feeling of non-intimidating affordable luxury. The quality of food is very good and I must say that the team-time and cocktails hours worth very much their price. There were some small glitches with the service in the restaurant but a very efficient manager resolved the issue and offered an excellent "gift" to us for our small inconvenience. Thanks Thomas!

All in all highly recommended and we will seriously consider going back for another staycation.

My husband and I spent two nights of our honeymoon here in a club room. The staff were extremely welcoming and always polite. They left us a little cake surprise as a gift on the first night downturn service. The complimentary afternoon tea we received as part of the club room was delicious. The evening canapaes and cocktails were outstanding. Wonderful selection of both food and drinks. The staff were very attentive and the drinks service was very quick. The breakfast in the club lounge was also nice. The spa was also very luxurious and we had a thai massage first followed by a couples aromatic oil massage. The pool area was well furnished with a range of chairs, lounges and cabanas and poolside drink service. Across the road was a night
gt market with plenty of craft type stalls, food, drinks and entertainment. 7 elevens close by and plenty of shopping centres, places to eat and train station. The roof top bar was a little pricey but the view was absolutely worth it. Cannot fauth this hotel at all. Was a fantastic way to finish off our honeymoon.

Stayed here during the third wave of COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand; therefore, Covid precautions were being taken all over the hotel. For example, apart from wearing face mask at all times, guests are required to wear plastic gloves while picking up food or drinks. Despite saying that, we could access to the property from car park without temperature checked.

We were given a Luxury Room, Club Millesime Access on 25th floor. Although it is a nice corner room, there are two closed building on both corners; so the curtains must be closed if some privacy required.

Staff seems to be the strongest point of this property. Toon and Air at the RSVN team are supportive. Nan and Fon, the FO, are friendly and professional. Pim and Bo at Le Macaron are also very nice and polite. Most importantly, we could not be happier with the staff on duty during Afternoon Tea and Evening Cocktails, especially Tum, Dookdik and Maggie. They are highly attentive in responding to guests’ needs and requests, in spite of the busy restaurant.

However, the housekeeping service might need some improvement as lots of dust found on the the bed head and no filling up bath amenities and lotion, although they completely ran out. We needed to call twice for this before only Shower Gel and Shampoo, not conditioner nor lotion were supplied in the morning.

Although we are a bit disappointed with Breakfast due to fewer varieties and lower quality of food, especially smoked Salmon, the options and taste of food during the Afternoon Tea time and the Evening Cocktails time are amazing. Cocktails, made by Bartender from Belca are exceptional good.

If the minor issues mentioned here have been solved, this hotel will be one the best choices of hotels in the heart of Bangkok. We hope to be back to meet those nice staff again.

Dear AnneKaeKae, Thank you for your candid feedback. While we are delighted that you enjoyed the service provided by our dedicated team members, we are, on the other hand, extremely sorry for the mishaps in some areas, especially in the cleanliness. There is nothing more valuable to us than our guest’s reviews. Therefore, we take these remarks very seriously. We have also taken a good note of your breakfast remark and have shared it with the concerned teams. As for the temperature check from the parking elevator, we do have a self temperature checkpoint at the car park entrance with an alcohol sanitizer. However, we suppose you are referring to the narrow passage crossing through the restrooms to get to the room elevators, and we are thrilled to inform you that we have now blocked that passage and have made a one-way entrance with a mandatory temperature check. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. We hope to welcome you back soon! Sincerely, Oliver Schnatz

I booked in here prior to my flight from England to Bangkok, and arrived about 1pm.
I was kindly welcomed by the outside staff, and then courteously shown through the entrance to reception, and then escorted to the Club room reception on the 31st floor (I think it was the 31st floor;)
The staff here are on a different level, politeness and professionalism shines through. Ning was especially great!
Pana, the guest relations manager also welcomed me and we had a genuinely nice conversation about things. Lovely 😊
My Club room was on the 16th floor, an end room, which did guarantee me quiet!

The room was tastefully furnished and the bed was out of this world for comfort, although there was a pillow menu, the 2 varieties I had were more than sufficient- they were seriously comfortable, as was the bed.
The bathroom was great and spacious, and the power from the shower was grand.
I did venture to the Club lounge but as there was no outside area I didn’t stay long:(
I didn’t manage to go to the rooftop bar but I will next time I stay, as feel I missed out on a chic drinking and dining area!

I decided to have a massage for an hour and a half, and this was amazing as well. It definitely helped ease the strains of the previous hours of travel.. Rin did a superb job of an aromatherapy massage and I felt alive and relaxed after.

The breakfast was a highlight, the staff are so attentive and helpful here. The chefs made me scrambled eggs with butter and I have to say was one of the best I’ve had (most places just cook the hell out the eggs, but this place served them perfectly cooked - so they were still moist and soft)
Even on leaving early in the morning after breakfast, the professionalism and care of the staff was amazing and I felt so well looked after.

Will I stay again? Yessssssss
10/10.
Thank you team Sofitel 🙏🏽🥰

We booked our stay through All Accor months before our stay because we felt the prices were great for the hotel and would not get any better. There was no indication the hotel was under renovations. Then about a few weeks before our stay we got an email from the hotel advising us of where to enter upon arrival due to construction and that is when we found out about the renovations. The instructions were to go to the back of the hotel where the parking garage is located. That is when we realized there was massive construction going on at the property and that we would not be able to go through the front lobby, etc. If we had known of the constructions earlier we would not have stayed here because that to us means noise and that the rooms are probably outdated and needs repair. But since it was so close to our departure the other hotel prices have already skyrocketed we had no other choice.

We emailed the hotel ahead of time to make sure we would not hear the construction since I am a very light sleeper and I like to sleep in. Throughout our stay we did not hear any construction noise except for when we exited through the skywalk. The only inconvenience was taxis and car service got confused as to where to pick up and drop off. Otherwise the construction was not an inconvenience.

Check in was smooth since we arrived around 0100. There was no wait at all. Staff was friendly.

We actually stayed in two different rooms because our needs changed during our stay. We had one bed in the first room and then two beds in the second. Both of the rooms were dated. Lots of wear and tear but we knew that's probably what the renovations were for. The property was trying to update their rooms. There were tears and cracks on the granite on the walls and grout was yellowing. Hopefully the hotel will take steps to correct these issues.

The room has extremely comfortable slippers, bottled water, bathrobes, the usual shower cap, cotton pads, etc. The Balmain lotions and shampoo/conditioner were locked to the wall which is completely understandable.

Breakfast was good. There was no wait whenever we went to have breakfast. Staff friendly and efficient. There is a big variety of hot and cold food, both western and eastern styles of breakfast was served. Most important one for me was noodle soup which they had a different one offered every day.

The walk to Terminal 21/Asok was about 5 minutes on the skywalk which provides easy access to both the subway and BTS (NOT THE BOYBAND. I've always wanted to say that...).

Overall for the price we paid I am happy with our stay.
