I literally booked this hotel for 3 nights. However, in the morning of the third day, the electricity went out and I was informed that the government already informed to cut off the electricity from 9 AM - 3 PM (6 HOURS!). The staff said they already put the notice at the counter and in the elevator. Guess where they put it, BESIDE the counter and inside the innest corner of the lift. As local people, no one will ever just look around the hotel. I had been staying for 2 nights and no staff has informed me since the day I checked-in. Therefore, this is unacceptable. I requested to cancel the third night because I didn't want to stay without A/C. They told me that your booking is non-refundable, cannot cancel. It was really terrible moment when you failed to inform customers something important like this and instead you insist to strict the stupid policy. This is unacceptable. Later, the staff made a phone call to someone (probably their supervisor) to ask to cancel my reservation without penalty charge. They told me they can refund but I needed to contact Agoda first to do so (I fully understand that it's because of third party booking). I called Thai Agoda and waited for 10 minutes, yet nobody answered. I showed him my phone that it'd been 10 minutes without talking with Agoda and asked him to call them for me. He REFUSED. I'm not pretending to be a know-it-all person but I know that the staff can call them too because I work as a reservation in a hotel too. Instead, he refused to help me and said you need to call on your own. They couldn't. I ended up calling English Agoda instead and informed about the case and finally I get my refund. It was really wasting time and I even had to have breakfast WITHOUT A/C or fan or electricity.

Big spacious room with good bed with nice breakfast. The hotel is located just couple of minutes from the nearest big mall. Plenty of local food near by. The room rates are reasonable and excellent house keeping and very friendly staff at the reception.

I loved this hotel ! Except that they ask 1000 bath deposit , and that they don't allow earlier check , even if you are with a tired child. But we had a big room from the corner with two balcony , one very useful for dry our washing clothes. 7th floor with fast wifi , good ac , fridge , tv , a nice view , ...very confortable stay for 10 days with my 3 years old daughter. Its not far from the metro , 5/10 mn. There is a huge Tesco Lotus supermarket and malls , like a Central. I aporeciated that a 7 Eleven is just next to the hotel ! Ok the room can look kinda old but for me it was really great , nothing to complain about thay for the price and location. Room was clean everyday and they provide bottked water.I would come back here for sure next time I visit Bangkok !

The hotel is located right behind Fortune tower close to MRT and Central Grand Rama 9. The room is quite big but very very dark! I had to borrow an extra lamp from housekeeping. Breakfast is good. Staff are friendly.

The building is quite old and dark, but the staff were fine. There seems to be enough parking spaces and a 7-11 is next door. If they can improve the lighting inside the room that would be much better. Not so bad as a place to spend a quick night in town.
