We stayed here for 5 nights in late 2019 and it was such a beautiful hotel. The location is perfect - it's very central and a short walk from Koh Sahn Road but in a quieter, more residential area. The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming and even let us use the pool to cool down while we waited for our room to become available. The rooftop pool has amazing views of the city and the bar has an excellent choice of drinks. My favourite thing about the hotel was the bohemian interior design, it gave the whole hotel such a relaxed and modern vibe. The room was absolutely perfect, it had a big bathroom with an excellent shower, a very comfortable bed and a cute little balcony. We didn’t eat very much at the hotel because we wanted to sample the street food but the breakfast was delicious, and you could sit outside overlooking the river. Honestly this hotel is one of the best we’ve ever stayed at and I would highly recommend it to everyone.…
Very nice hotel. The location is less than 5 minutes from the busy streets of Kao San Road. Our room faced the street but we were able to sleep without problems. The room is very well equipped, very pretty and very large. We were able to enjoy the rooftop swimming pool, very pleasant with its bar. We had breakfast very well supplied and two meals: 1 at noon and 1 in the evening and we really enjoyed ourselves. The staff are very competent and very kind. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return there on my next trip to Thailand.
Our first 5 days in Bangkok were spent staying at Casa Vimaya. A great choice. We traveled with another couple and it was a first trip to Thailand for all of us. We Really enjoyed Casa Vimaya. The restaurant was pleasant. Staff was shy there and had to be encouraged but the food was good. Desk staff was very friendly as was the young men who worked outside. The pool was a highlight and we used it every night after our hot days of sightseeing. Bar staff was super friendly. We were pretty disgusted with the cities pollution. Actually horrified at the lack of visibility and air quality. It has hard to believe that such a vibrant city can’t fix it as London and LA have. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well!😃
I was meant to stay at sister property Casa Nithra, but on the day of my arrival at 12.30pm they contacted me through Booking.com to say there was water heating problems and could I go to Casa Vimaya instead. It worked out for the better, I liked the location. Close to Khao San Road (not that that’s a highlight), on riverside and short tuk tuk to city palace and reclining Buddha. Room was clean and spacious. I didn’t eat breakfast so can’t comment. I found nice places to eat lunch and dinner very close by. 7/11 across the road for supplies. All in all a nice place to stay in Bangkok.
A good quality hotel round the corner from Khao San Road. Close enough for a visit to all the bars, markets, food stalls etc but without the noise and rowdiness! A nice pool and bar, and on site restaurant with a limited menu. Recommend getting a riverside room for views of the river.
