So hard to find....a large sign out front on Ratchawong was hidden from sight by a van at 11.00pm where taxi dropped us from airport. Knew it was down a lane, near a large building, but could only see the lane prior to the real one. So 10 minutes of wandering around, before asking the locals closing their shops. Fortunately they directed us to the correct lane. It is the lane BETWEEN two large buildings. An hour later we would have been in BIG trouble getting help. Still....go up the correct lane, turn left at Chinese Temple, walk 4 - 5 metres, and go up tiny lane next to Temple. No signage to let you know this. So could easily miss the tiny lane, and continue wandering. Pity that our weekend was special for the Chinese....as Temple celebrations started at 5AM!!!!! And continued through to 7AM the next morning. Hardest bed EVER in Asia. Had to lift the sheets to actually check that it was a bed! Tiny shower/toilet/handbasin. Everything gets wet when showering. Outlet needed improving, as water did not readily escape, and thus soggy feet when using toilet. Positives: Chinatown is alive. Cheap eats all around. Bus out front, river 5 minutes walk. Reception pleasant and efficient. Drinks fridge at reception. Mini-fridge in room. Quick elevator.…

We had a very disappointing stay here. Location is very difficult to find, somewhere in a back alley in Chinatown, our taxi driver could not find it, the guy at the reception could not explain when we called him... The guy at the reception was very unhelpful even arrogant, we couldn't pay with Visa although it was marked as accepted, then he didn't had any change when we payed in cash ... Since we didn't have much time the next day we asked to arrange a taxi but didn't wanted to. The room was not cleaned, pubic hairs in the bed, dirty bath room with broken window and thus mosquitos everywhere. The fridge made terrible noise, the bed was rock hard, we were glad we could leave in the morning. Much better options in Bangkok and also in Chinatown for same price.

To find this place was difficult, map link give another location. Check in terrible, did know about any booking by Agoda and didn't understand it was prepaid. The boy had to call 3 persons before he got an answer. Room is very simple local style furnished, bed is really to hard, no TV, no fridge, no water-cooker. Bathroom is so small, you can not even open the door, no mirror and no place to hang towels or clothes. In my opinion it can never be a 3-star accommodation. It just a local apartment building for locals, the internet price is unreasonable high. Those apartments are rented out on monthly basis for about 4000-5000 baht, so a daily rate should be lower or around 400 baht. The bed-sheets and towels where new, so ok. But the blanket is old style and shouldn't be in a new accommodation. Hopefully they improve their service and lower their prices. It's a new (or renovated) building, so they still learning and could improve.…
