Stayed on the fourth floor in a block to the rear of the bar/ restaurant. The room was outdated with a 70's brown leather look but it was clean. Breakfast was basic but tasty. Good enough location for sukhumvit - close to BTS EKkamai (which is why I chose it). Wasn't too noisy though.

Needed a hotel near the Ekamai bus station at short notice, and were very pleased to find this on TripAdvisor. We'd asked for a quiet room, and, although our room faced the road, the noise was minimal. We had to leave before breakfast, so can't comment, but the menu for room service looked tasty and very reasonably priced. The bathroom... More

Found this great place by accident. Was made to feel at home halfway around the world. Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the ground floor. Wonderful made to order breakfast with some of the best sausage I've ever had! Great coffee and selection of papers from around the world. Want to watch a game on TV just ask. Very... More

I've had the pleasure of staying at the Bourbon Street Boutique Hotel numerous times over the years, though my first time at the hotel's new location 9/39-40 Soi Tana Arcade. In the last month I've stayed twice at teh new location and throughly enjoyed both stays! The hotel is conveniently located near Sukhumvit and the Ekamai BTS station ... about... More

Firstly I would like to make it clear that my review only refers to the hotel side of this business, we did not eat in the Restaurant and therefore I cannot comment on it. After an almost 24 hr journey from our home in the UK my wife and I were looking forward to a shower and a meal in... More

This hotel was chosen by the event I was attending. By the name, you know this is not designed to experience Thai culture. It is in an area frequented by expats and the restaurants on the street are great indicators of that. My room offers bare minimum. The toiletry includes a bar of soap in the size of a mint... More

We chose this hotel as our last stop before we headed back home because of the good reviews online and stayed 2 nights. When you enter, you enter in a restaurant not a hotel. There is a tiny hidden "reception" desk in the back of the room and they have to call someone to check you in/out as there is... More

I've stayed here 3 times in the last 3 months all the rooms are clean, there is a refrigerator in the room and a Grocery store nearby. They bring bottled water every day.The internet is very fast and the price is right. Food is good but I think there are too many items on the menu, couldn't try everything. You... More

Friendly and helpful staff. I actually had my credit card eaten at the airport when I arrived and got cash, and they helped me contact the bank and retrieve it later. Very convenient to the sky train. You can go to and from the airport by the trains as well. Would definitely stay here if I returned. Very clean and... More

I ended up staying here a total of five nights during my two stops in Bangkok. This hotel is very clean with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The hotel is a 5-minute walk to the Skytrain which gives you access to the action in Bangkok. I enjoyed returning to the hotel each evening after exploring hectic Bangkok during some hot... More

Staying in Thong Lor & Ekamai

Neighborhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
