The staff was more than polite and did their best to accommodate all my needs. Centrally located and clean.

I arrived without a booking, as I usually opt to see the places irl before checking in and usually it's cheaper for the establishment to make a straight booking onsite. I asked to see the room, but I was denied the opportunity as the staff didn't want to bother the guests already staying in the rooms. (I totally respect this). I was guaranteed the rooms were exactly like in the pictures, and so they were. In the end it was cheaper for me to book through a booking site, which I did but it went without a hitch. I was really worried about the temperature in the rooms and which room to choose, but the staff really knew what room and place to recommend and what was best for me. They did an amazing job and I am really happy how I sincerely got the feeling they wanted to do everything in their power to make my stay as perfect as possible!

The rooms were super clean and spacious. Lockers were good size and I'm always happy when there's also a small locker at the bed. Locks were provided. There were two power outlets and a small shelf, a few hangers and headphones and a tv in the bed. The bed was spacious, comfertable and felt really private. Most of all the beds were clean, which for me is a key issue. I am very sensitive to stains and the bedsheets were spotless and clean. I actually loved the policy that the hostel required quests who stain sheets and towels to pay extra. (However my only complaint all in all was that the towel I received was already stained, and the night shift refused to change it. I was worried they were making me pay for someone else's stains. In the morning I had to check 3 towels until I found a spotless one the next morning). I had my own towels with me, so not a problem and most probably not a problem for other people who have less of an ocd when it comes to stains, as the towels were in fact cleaner than in most places in general.

Bathrooms, showers and general areas were clean. They had shampoo and shower gel in the showers and a hairdryer. I also loved they had separate toilets, showers, sinks and devided by gender. In some rooms you also had private shower, toilet and sinks and a balcony. Also the rooftop had amazing views, my only regret was I didn't get to spend more time there.

I loved they had a breakfast menu, and because of unforceen circumstances I didn't get to try it out more than for one morning.

I will absolutely go back to printing house poshtel next time in Bangkok and recommend any older backpacker who is looking for a more adult and quiet place to stay at. If you're looking for a party hostel, this is not that one.

This is the most well equipped and well serviced hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I have come back twice. There is such great attention to detail, the whole premise is spotless. The hostel bunks have been so practically and thoughtfully designed so there’s no difficulty getting in and out, storage is super easy. Duvet and nice linen provided it’s a hotel experience at a fraction of the price. There is a rooftop bar on site with great food and drink specials. The location is absolutely perfect close to ko san road but not too close to ko san road where it is a bit dirty and loud to sleep. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Will be back for sure. Thank you 😊✌️

The Printing House has stepped it up to offer more comforts and amenities for the solo traveller and backpacker. While still offering dorm rooms, it nearly feels like a mini private room with your own TV, very comfortable beds, modern decor, and a refrigerator in each room. Made to order breakfast choices that are included in the price are meals you would want to wake up to. The real gems here are the staff; they are so polite and helpful, going above and beyond what you'd expect even in a higher end hotel. They are so friendly and personable, remembering if you stayed before which makes me feel at home and well looked after.

Stayed for one night and ended up extending to 2. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me. Room was clean and lots included with the bed, including extra padlocks for your cupboards for your important things, a TV, bottle of water, towels etc. Bathrooms were nice and clean, very spacious. Breakfast was also included in the room price and there is a good varied choice of food and drinks to choose from, made to order. Enjoyed the food.

Overall one of the best hostels I have stayed in and would highly recommend!

We came here as our last dinner as a class during our time in Thailand, and if there is anything I could recommend, it would be to have dinner anywhere else. There was complete lack of communication between ourselves and the waiters, when we asked questions, they gave us answers and then went back on them- specifically when it came to splitting the bill and drinks during happy hour. The time frame of happy hour was not disclosed until the bill was given and when we asked to speak to the manager, there was no type of urgency to get us help. They wanted to charge us before allowing us to speak to someone of higher authority. Please spend your money and time elsewhere, the pad thai tasted like toilet water.

When I booked this hostel for my birthday I had high expectations for it, and the hostel exceeded all of them. The location is great, the staff is very diligent and kind, they have and excellent restaurant with super reasonable prices, an amazing rooftop, super clean and pretty rooms, and extra clean shared bathrooms. The breakfast is very good and they have cookies, tea and coffee for free, 24 hours. I recommend this hostel 100%.

This is a pleasant place in a very nice area for visiting the temples, especially Wat Pho though there are many available! the staff are friendly here and the rooms are excellent with aircon and super comfy beds. you get a breakfast which is basic but at least it's brought to you and you don't have to wash your dishes! the place is more like a hotel and appears to be of recent manufacture. I was told it's 4 years old. looks great. the bathrooms were not the best and there was a grubby towel to dry hands which i avoided. also as this is an area with bars and indeed there is a bar/restaurant on the top floor of the hostel, because of this then people come into the dorm room at all hours. so a peaceful sleep is not going to happen. on one occasion someone was using a hair dryer in the restroom at 2.30 in the morning while chatting loudly to her friend. so it's not the hostel's fault is people are inconsiderate but some signs stating a policy on 'quiet hours' maybe from 11.30pm to 7am would probably be beneficial.

The Printing House is an absolute jewel. Sadly because of Covid there were not that many guest but that did not stop the staff from being excellent. Raymond at the front went above and beyond for myself and another guest whom I met during my stay. Everymorning JC greeted me with a ssmiles he took my breakfast order (the free breakfast was good and filling). The mid day gentleman I cannot remember his name always opened the door with a smile and was always chatty and the overnight gentleman was also a joy. Yes this hostel is a bit more expensive than most but it is worth it because of the attentive staff, clean rooms, and bathroom and the great breakfast. If you are thinking about this Hostel, look no further. It is super close to a lot of attractions, has plenty of food choices (not including the onsite restaurant) in walking distance and in an area in which i felt safe.

Happy Travels!

Best way to get to the hostel from the airport using public transportation? Thank you!!
Bangkok, Thailand14 contributions
Dear valued Guest, Greetings from The Printing House Poshtel! May we suggest to take an airport taxi meter going here. Or for alternative, if you are coming from Suvarnabhumi Airport, you can take a shuttle bus "S1", and from Don Meuang Airport, you can take bus "A4" and you can get off the bus near khao sarn road. It's only 5-10 minutes walk as you arrive Khao Sarn (Sanam Luang) heading to our property. Thank you and have a good day. If you have any further assistance prior to your arrival, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. Best regards,
