Novotel Bangkok Fenix Silom was my first hotel stay in Bangkok. It’s on the Westside of Bangkok somewhat close to the Chao Phraya River within the Silom area. This location was enjoyable as you are close to many attractions on this side of town. The...More
This is a great hotel. It's modern, has nice amenities and is well situated. There are many hotels, supermarkets and shopping within walking station. The sky train is also near by. The best part about this hotel though is the staff. The customer service is...More
The hotel is great. Good location within walking distance to some great restaurants. You will have to take a taxi to get to the main attractions, such as Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, and Wat Pho. The rooms are clean and modern. The shower doesn’t...More
Stayed here for 2 nights - booked because it's Novotel so it should be decent. We booked two Superior rooms.
Lobby - small lobby, limited sofas and it looks like a lobby of a 3 star hotel. Reception staffs were very nice though.
This hotel is quite decent in term of location.
It is only 10 min walk from Surasak station and in Silom road, there are many places to eat.
When we are there, we got free upgrade for the room.
The wifi is OK and free...More

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.

Thank you for considering our hotel. While we do have restaurants and attractions such as the night market or Lebua Skybar in reach by foot, I believe you are perhaps looking for something literally beside shopping areas. Hence my recommendation would be one of our sister properties around the Pathumwan/Siam areas. Novotel Siam Square as the name suggests is around the Siam Square area with tons of restaurants and shopping possibilities. With the Skywalk you can cross over to Siam Paragon shopping Mall. Novotel Platinum is very popular with shoppers located right on top of Platinum Fashion Mall and with the Skywalk you can reach CentralWorld - the largest shopping mall in Bangkok - or Gaysorn Plaza which is arguably the most luxurious mall. Mercure/ibis Siam would give you a better price option located right next to the Skytrain station "National Stadium" across MBK shopping Mall. Please let us know if we may be of any further help.
