Detailed Reviews
We stayed three nights at this hotel. The staff was so welcoming and gave us full attention as soon as we came down to the reception. The breakfast was included and was divided in two parts with a buffé for bread and fruit and egg, bacon and such things were done when you told which kind of breakfast you preferred. Highly recommended hotel!

All of staff are so friendly, and we felt more than welcomed at the entrance. They provided wonderful customer services, and the room is clean, tidy and big enough to open our 3 big suit cases. Even tho our room was faced with main street, it was not noisy at all.
We accidentally happened to leave my sunglasses in our room, but they emailed us immediately and kept it for a whole day next day. They contacted each other, so when we showed up and told one of them at the counter, who we didn’t meet, he soon recognised and handed it over.
Thank you very much for having us. We will absolutely come back.

Oriental hotel is located in a busy Charoen Krung Street, it is so impressive with its own heritage design and 5 star service mind.
With the convenient and closed to BTS Saphan Taksin and public boat transportation which is only 15 Thai Baht, you can travel a long way from Asiatique to Khao San Road. As a tourist in this area, you should not miss it and you can see the locals living life along the river.
Another highlight for this hotel is that it is opposite the ICON SIAM shopping mall which is a modern and biggest shopping center in Thailand.
The hotel rooms are so romantic, especially staying as a couple. With the intelligent design, the room is spacious and has all amenities needed for the stay. The bathroom has open glasses which are unique.
With their service like a 5 star hotel, you will feel welcome as at home!
I believe you will have a safe and satisfied stay with this hotel. Enjoy Bangkok as much as you can!

It's a nice 3 star boutique hotel near the river in one of the older parts of Bangkok. Rooms are basic and quite small. Clean and well maintained. A small restaurant serves meals and coffee throughout the day breakfast is adequate
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only criticism was its a bit noisy from traffic noise and the aircon blows directly onto the bed and it's a bit overpriced relative to many other nearby hotels.

It's good for a rest - clean, good beds, clean bathroom - As it's see thru draw the drapes if you feel embarrassed. They have someone at the front desk 24 hrs, no room service available but they have a small breakfast service and a small fridge with some drinks and beers. Room has cup noodles and some chips and drinks with ok pricing. Shower gel, and amenities available with hair dryer. Rates range from 1700 baht onwards. 10 minute walk to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. There's a great beef and duck noodle shop on the left side. Parking in the soi next door at the temple - 50 baht ka.

Stayed here for 4 nights to go to the international stamp exhibition next door at the Bangkok Post Office. Hotel lobby was welcoming and cosy. Front desk checkin and checkout was quick and efficient. Hotel is along a main road. Our twin room was facing the back and it was quiet and restful for us. Room was spacious with comfortable beds. Toilet and shower bathroom were large, very clean with glass partitions. You can draw the curtain for privacy.
Instant coffee and Lipton tea provided. All personal toiletries were provided. Air purifier was provided too.
Daily housekeeping did good job of cleaning and gave clean towels .
Took about 30min from the Suvanabumi international airport because of bad traffic jam in the afternoon, paid 600 bahts in regular taxi.
However, Hotel WiFi kept dropping and we had to keep logging in.
Inroom dining wasn’t available even though there was a menu in the room. Not many eateries around actually but could find a couple of cafes when we googled. Frequented the Harmonique restaurant a couple times as it’s just behind the hotel.
Front desk helped us to call for a cab when we left. Thank you!
Overall we love this hotel. Enjoyed our peaceful quiet stay. Will come again.

I have written a review on Agoda, but I would still like to write one here. This boutique hotel, located in the old town of Bangkok, is a beautiful one with very helpful staff to match.
Although located far from central Bangkok, the location to the Chao Phraya river and piers make up for it. You can take the ferries easily to IconSiam, Wat Arun, Wat Pho, and the Grand Palace here.
The street it is located is quiet at night, and nearby there is a 7Eleven for midnight snacks. Good for couples seeking some peace and quiet after a long day exploring the city. Post office is nearby too, convenient for those looking to send postcards home.
Now about the room! Beds made, towels changed, and water refilled everyday. Room is clean and beautifully designed. Water pressure from the shower is very good. Wifi works as intended; there are other guests using it for work too.
I will recommend this hotel to those who have travelled to Bangkok before. Please keep up the good work!

The hotel itself is fine – more than fine – and the staff are friendly and helpful, but my experience came with a couple of caveats.
One, the WiFi is the worst I have ever encountered in a hotel. One, the reliability is extremely poor (the signal cuts in and out, and the upload/download speeds are very slow, to the point that Web pages time out), but even worse is that when you check in, the desk clerk gives you a slip of paper bearing a unique log-in code and password. I was told that every device requires a separate log-in and passcode (ridiculous ... why?), but guess what? Every time you close your device (phone, iPad, laptop), the connection to the WiFi resets and you have to log in again the next time you want to access the WiFi.
One more strange thing: in the rooms is a sheet outlining "Damage Charges", on which every item in the room is listed. The television. The ceramic side table. The wooden side table. The tissue holder (there isn't one). The shower head, LOL. On one of my first nights in the room I got some blood on my pillowcase, and the desk clerk warned me the next morning that, "The next time we will charge you." Really? You don't have a laundry service? Weird.
Overall, the hotel is fine, and if you don't have to do any work in the room, and don't really care about the WiFi, this hotel represents decent value for money (and as I said, the staff are lovely).

Needed a place near the New Year's FIreworks. Many places were booked, of course. We lucked out and got one of the 2 remaining rooms. They are small but arranged efficiently with fridge, safe coffee pot, and large shower. It is an older building that has been remodeled. Very nice linens and contemporary style decor. The price was very reasonable. Very nice staff.

I had to conduct business in the area and I booked this hotel out of convenience and location. Little did I know that this hotel is a gem to stay at. With its very affordable rate, you get a very spacious room. The pictures really are what they seem. They have a restaurant as well for your own dining pleasure. Amenities are well stocked. Location is near a bus stop as well. The place is quiet at night and you can walk around if you wish. The busyness of Bangkok does not apply to their location. Even if it is in a main road, there are not much people there. You can also do a 10 minute walk to Chinatown if you want to eat there.

Hi. Not that I’m aware of. We moved around mainly by taxi which was always inexpensive and reliable. We caught the bus from in front of the hotel to Chinatown. Very cheap and great local experience. The hotel will tell you the bus # if you’re interested. They really helped anyway they could with transportation questions.
Dear guest,
The taxi from Suvarnabhumi airport to our hotel would cost around 500-600 baht per trip. From our hotel to Don Mueang airport, the taxi will be around 400-500 baht. There are many restaurants and bars in the walking distance from our hotel that we can definitely recommend you.
If you have any further question, please let us know.
Thank you.
Tan, GM, Oriental Heritage
Dear mam,
Hot water is provided in every bathroom. If we can provide you with any other assistance, please let us know.
Thank you.
