Our flight arrived in Bangkok earlier then planned (7.30am) and check in wasn't till midday but the staff allowed us to store our luggage and got us in the room around 11am. The room was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable and there was air con, but was quite noisy when on. The view from our room (second floor) was...

Stayed here whilst visiting Bangkok. It was close to the markets we wanted to visit and pretty central to most areas. The rooms were clean and tidy and had free WiFi and air con which was important to us. We had one room and put the kids in a 3 bedder. Hotel was reasonably priced and quiet

I have stayed in Silom Avenue Inn for 2 nights around Christmas time - busy season. The hotel is conveniently located just few meters from Silom road - one of the main hubs in Bangkok and very popular by foreign tourist. The location enables safe environment for exploration of Bangkok yet still gives rather western feel. Since the hotel is...

Hotel is located in quiet area in Bangkok, about 15 minutes by foot from BTS station. Not many tourists were there. Room was clean and quite okay for undemanding people. Good for a couple of nights when you decided to spend more time outside and only sleep there. Bathroom need some renovating - bath was scratched and shower curtain was...

This was my second stay at this hotel and it was a great stay. I love the location, with great street food markets right on your doorstep and all the entertainment of Silom a short walk away. Upon arrival I was given a very friendly welcome and although I arrived very early at about 7am, I was advised to go...

Hotel carino e confortevole, staff gentile, stanza pulita e accogliente, poi contrattare tours e massaggi. Un po' troppo distante dal metro, la strada principale offre svariati ristorantini e supermercati, ottima zona, consigliato. The hotel is nice and comfortable, friendly staff, clean room, you can contract the tours straight from the hotel, and Thai massage. it's a bit far away from...

Very unfriendly staff. I would recommend hotel Sapphirtel, just next to Silom avenue inn.which has clean room, bathroom and friendly staff and also mostly cheaper than Silom avenue inn. Don't get fooled by the lobby and front entrance look.

We stayed for two nights and the hotel rooms are very old fashioned but okay for the cheap price. We requested an extra bed and called the hotel several times to get no answer which was Abbas frustrating so our third friend booked another hotel. Upon arrival, there was an extra bed in our room which none got back to...

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
